Rudy Giuliani has found his place in the Trump administration.

The former New York City mayor will be advising President-elect Donald Trump on cyber security issues, the presidential transition team announced Thursday.

“Mayor Rudy Giuliani will be sharing his expertise and insight as a trusted friend concerning private sector cyber security problems and emerging solutions developing in the private sector,” the Trump team said in a press release.

The soon-to-be president also plans to meet with corporate executives to understand their cyber challenges — as well as those that face the US government.

Sounds pretty good, Rudy will no doubt form a very respectable and formidable team to head up advanced cyber security.

Maybe Rudy should help the DNC with IT security.

They seem to have some “issues” over there ..

Hope the appointment includes a seat at Cabinet meetings .. the man has too much wisdom/experience to share to be relegated to memos.

I wasn’t aware that Giuliani had any background whatsoever in network security.

Giuliani took down the mob. Who better to lead the Abedin/Weiner/Clinton e-mail investigation?

Exactly right! In fact we have video proof that there is a serial hacker at the highest levels of the DNC:

I was recently hacked and I can’t understand why Silicon Valley can’t prevent this. All the Service provider does is advise you to keep changing your password because a billion users are vulnerable to hacks, and then sends you an email at one in the morning that someone in Africa tried to log on from your account. Meanwhile the hacker already stole your address book and has all night to troll thru your account.

I will! Gonna soak it all in. It’s been such a long and dreary time.

Excellent choice!
Generous of Rudy to take such a difficult, important, but ‘low-celebrity-rated’ position!

(’low-celebrity-rated’: can’t think of the word I want )

I realized that a lot of our neighbors have their flags up, more than usual. Probably 10 in our block where previously there were maybe two who kept it up all the time. So Mr. Mercat and I are flying the flag daily through Jan. 23rd. We would just leave it up but don’t have it lit and it’s really cold here to be taking it in and out every day. And too cold to install a light. brrrrr

Maybe Rudy should help the DNC with IT security.

I disagree. I think the DNC should hire Anthony Weiner to oversee their cyber security concerns.

I think both Rudy and Trump probably value the flexibility of this position. I have a feeling Rudy will be a big help to all of them from this vantage point.
