Gotta say, although I think Rubio will cave and end up voting for Tillerson reluctantly, the palpable disdain he evinces here for the nominee really has me wondering. You don’t expect resolve from a guy who said in the primaries that Trump was unfit to command the nuclear arsenal and then endorsed him for president a few months later, but it’s hard logically to get from the point A of this clip to the point B of Rubio voting to confirm. And remember, his vote counts more than most: He’s a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, which will vote after the hearing on whether to recommend Tillerson to the full Senate. The GOP enjoys an 11-10 advantage on that committee. If Rubio flips and votes no, the GOP will need to flip a Democrat or else Tillerson will lose the committee vote. And it’s unusual for a nominee who fails in committee to be confirmed by the full Senate.

Tillerson is an extremely qualified nominee. Rubio tried and was masterfully denied in his attempt to get Tillerson to call Putin a war ctiminal. When that didn’t happen he got incensed and tried to rephrase with the same result. Totally unprofessional and well deserves the nickname “little Marco.”
Rubio was a childish jerk and his responses to Tillerson’s answers were like a child whining when he doesn’t get the answer he wants from a request to his parents.

I suspect that somebody is leveraging some very serious dirt on Marco Rubio. Over the years I’ve observed that when a man does his enemy’s bidding, somebody’s got him by the short hairs.

Imagine how much better the past 8 years would have been if McCain, Graham, Rubio, Romney, and the Bushes had attacked Obama’s administration with even one tenth of the energy and vigor which they’ve devoted to attacking Trump and his cabinet in the past few months.
little marco is back on live still pushing this issue of sanctions. he is trying to pin him down and trying to get him so say if a country commits to a cyber attack we would issue sanctions. also trying again to get him to say Putin is a war criminal.... he is not asking questions he is giving a speech regarding to how he answered other questions. marco is a real tool and a POS. I think if we could see behind him there would be Romney with his arm and hand up marco’s arse playing him like a puppet.
Sen. Marco Rubio lost his home state, Florida, to Donald Trump in the Primary election. That’s very pathetically embarrassing and a testament to how poorly he’s represented FL and Floridian’s distaste for Marco.
Marco jumped back into the Senatorial race late June after he had pledged not to run. No one else seriously ran against him and the republicans begrudgingly supported Rubio.
now there is some lady on there complaining about his no saying his is committed to climate change. and now she is giving a speech on how it affects NH flora and fauna and skiing .... soon NH will be like NC. IDIOTS.

marco has now left the hearing room and is holding a press conference in the hall and threatening to vote against the candidate for Secretary of State. He is in this for attention...and he goes on and on and now questioned about the Russian crap coming out from buzzfeed. He is a real POS.

When did you and when did ANY of your Democrat Senate colleagues DEMAND that the Obama administration make that claim against Russia??? Oh, apparently, on the Senate record - NEVER. So you waited during the whole Syria crisis to demand that answer from Tillerson?
Rubio, no matter how I considered you in the past, I did not think you were such a poor, and politically suspect LOSER.
Tilerson was tough on all the countries Rubio is complaining about. He is pretending to be upset that Tilerson would not make intemperate remarks. This is political treason.

So Rubio, red-faced and lips pressed tightly, wanted the next SOS to declare the leader of Russia a "War Criminal" during his confirmation hearing - to what end...????!!!
Even if Tillerson believed it with all his heart and knowledge - making such a declaration upon Rubio's proclamations (I say it is so, as well the media has printed this too) would be a career ending blunder - before the next administration was even sworn in.
Jeezzz, how low does my respect for Rubio go?
