We are talking about who can occupy and control the land as it has always been. We can own land because we have laws that protect title. Most of South America land title was granted by the King, some were able to keep them, some were not.
Only a citizen can own land in Mexico because they are protecting themselves, unlike the morons that control this Country. Ask Israel about land ownership.
Unless we change what happens once an illegal crosses the border nothing will change wall or no wall.
This is why the Bushes and the other RINOs have been fighting so hard to keep the door open - to stave off a giant Venezuela appearing next door, never mind the cost of immigration to our own citizens.
The wall is a much need force multiplier. Hopefully AG Sessions will vigorously enforce all immigration laws.
That is what most of us have been hoping for. Nine more days, then expectations will kick in and something better happen.
I’m sure our in-coming president will follow the law and
remove those who need removing.
I agree with most of your comments.
My comments about ownership claims on Southwestern US land was only in the context of Mexican nationals trying to make a claim.
Neither the Indians or the Mexicans have a claim to it now.
That ship has sailed.
Using the Indian claim that would supersede the Mexican claim is a good way to shut the Mexicans up. That’s all.
As for land ownership, it’s an interesting point. It would take me some time to oppose it as much as you seem to now.
Not saying you’re wrong. I don’t see it quite the same way from the get go.
We technically own land but property tax means we don’t really own it at all, we are just care takers until the government wants/needs it.
And if they do have a Revolution, it will most likely result in a full communist dictatorship like Cuba.
Ok, I get your point.
There are certain taxes I’m not a big fan of.
This would be one.
As for funds for schools, it would seem parents could pay fees, but the schools mismanage their costs to the point parents get screwed on fees.
