It is absolutely unacceptable that NY Attorney General Eric Schneiderman be allowed to nullify the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, a right all of the Several States are obligated and required to guarantee by being part of the Union (and I don't mean labor unions)!

People aren't aware that each of the 13 states were ordered to write their constitutions....prior to the Federal Constitution. Most included the right to bear arms in their constitution.

It shouldn't ought to be that way but I take precautions when travel through the Garden State. Don't let them know you have a gun. Keep your trip quiet and don't broadcast it. I live in NY. I deer hunt in NY. I often travel through jersey and PA for a much shorter trip. I don't wear hunting garb, it's not hung in Windows either. Guns are locked away in my pickup cap. Don't driver over the speed limit, don't swerve. Leave to go through Jersey around 5AM.

I follow the law as set down by the 1986 Gun Owners’ Protection Act, but know Jersey won't accept it, so I do my best to not present a target.
