The lowest-common-denominator approach proposed by this bill would undermine the core principles of federalism, the traditional police powers of state governments, and the safety of law enforcement officers across the country. Its absolutely unacceptable for the federal government to dictate that someone can carry a concealed, loaded gun within a states border, in violation of that states laws. I never go to, do business in or with, or acknowledge states like NJ. You are free to do the same.
I agree with you! I stay out of the unfree states like NJ, NY, MD, MA, RI, IL, CA. I don’t even stop for gas in SC, because my concealed carry permit is no good there. I can still have a loaded pistol in the car, though, according to their laws. NJ? No.
