Senate Democrats are poised to throw away 20 years of friendship and a bipartisan working relationship with Sen. Jeff Sessions to wreak political vengeance on him this week as they consider his nomination for attorney general.
Highlighting the deep partisan divide and the bad blood between Democratic lawmakers and President-elect Donald Trump, the same senators who have socialized and co-authored reams of legislation with Mr. Sessions are under pressure from liberal interest groups to air accusations that he is a racist, a sexist and a homophobe.
Mr. Sessions, who has held an Alabama seat in the Senate since 1997 and has served as the state’s attorney general and as a U.S. attorney, is expected to win confirmation from his colleagues, including support from several Democrats. But it won’t be pretty.
Heading into two days of confirmation hearings that begin Tuesday before the Senate Judiciary Committee, where he serves as a member, liberal activist groups have gone so far as to label him a “white supremacist,” and his Democratic colleagues have expressed doubt about his ability to enforce the law without prejudice.

I hear you and have thought much about talk that Justices Scalia and Ginsburg were such close friends, evidently they put their politics aside.
The success of Attorney General Jeff Sessions will be measured by how soon and how many Demonicrats his Justice Department can indict, try, obtain convictions, and have sentenced to be hanged for giving aid and comfort to the enemy. And among those who should be left to rot off the noose are a number of former Demonicrat colleagues in the Senate.
If they succeed against Sessions they will go after the rest that much harder. I hope he does not withdraw. If Trump withdraws his name, well, I trust Trump’s judgment.

The American People are growing increasingly tired of the Left's divisive and dangerous tactics, desperate stunts which are not even remotely based in an objective review of the factual record.
Just as these fools severely overplayed their weak hand during the general election cycle, so too will they be further rebuked over the next several years for their pettiness, hatred, and hysteria.
These empty vessels have nothing constructive to offer the nation, and they are going to be relegated to the dust bin of history, exposed as utter frauds.
Let them keep behaving exactly as they have been. The People are not in the mood for such shenanigans. The more the Leftist Establishment and Media (but I repeat myself) persists in such counterproductive behavior, the more fiercely and thoroughly they will repudiated.
Their feeble attempts to undermine the Trump administration and this Revolutionary movement are but the death throes of a bloated dinosaur. Their dogma is collapsing under the weight of its own irrelevance. Their influence is rapidly waning, as they utterly fail to adapt to the new reality which greets them so harshly at the dawn of each new day.
If I was Trump, any position they refused to fill would remain empty.

The HATE is intense from the democrats. Like rabid dogs foaming at the mouth, they snarl of plans to do everything possible to disrupt the Trump Presidency. Showing no care that the American people have spoken, no care that there plans can and will harm America and American citizens. Its all about them. Its all about their loss of power. If they can’t have it no one can!

The Rats still have not realized why Trump was elected and that’s that decent people are totally fed up with their leftist agenda.
I would read a couple of Eric Holder’s quotes about “not prosecuting my people” and “not enforcing laws he didn’t like” and ask why there was no uproar by Democrats at those remarks. Were Sessions to take those positions, he should rightfully be rejected but the bar has been set very low by this past administration and the nominee would express a willingness to uphold and enforce the laws at the minimum to the standards of the last administration.
Tables are turning. The new SecDef was sort of “made to resign” by some higher up generals ... now he’s their boss. And Sessions is the OPPOSITE of what the Schumer Clown Democrats believe. This is REALLY going to be fun. Been a long dry spell for all of us. (Get out the popcorn!)

But alas...they're still hoping that President Elect Trump stops tweeting but he reaches millions more than via the usual media.
The media should recall what they did before TV came around. In the days when News people delivered the news....not their personal "scholarly" ANALysis.
