Police have responded to a shooting inside Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport Friday afternoon.
Details have not been confirmed by police, but early reports indicate as many as seven people were shot. Former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer, who was traveling from the airport, tweeted out following the incident:
Yes you can get there without going thru security.
Damn, I’m there like twice a month..
You can enter baggage claim any time. People picking up returning passengers.

Trying to recall but I believe at both LAX and Seattle-Tacoma airports, which I’ve most recently been to, you have to go through TSA first.
At LAX you can walk right in.
My thought exactly. The reporting of this is so typical. CBS just finished 15 minutes of breathless speculation spun around 15 seconds of fact. NBC and ABC had a crawler about the incident but didn't interrupt "Today" or (in SF) "The Harpies View".
As for FOX, MSNBC and CNN, they have nothing better to show, so they can go wall to wall and nobody knows the difference or cares much.

On the way out you may pass by/thru security. Checked baggage area is always accessible to everyone. This was a soft target.
But we will know immediately that it’s the NRA’s fault.

Yep. It’s stunning that terrorists have not hit these large security lines. In order to prevent attacks on large groups of people, they create a large groups of people to be searched. It’s quite comical.
Makes me think these attacks really are false flags meant to ultimately condition us for surveillance and random searches anywhere....
at the risk of sounding crass, I hope they shot at that horrid “artwork” of a man sitting listening to his Walkman.
We had to sleep overnight at that airport (Thanks United) and listen to the mayor blaring canned announcements with all her accomplishments every half hour on the half hour.
but I digress.
But there is ISIS.
