Greta Van Susteren has over the course of her career held forth for both CNN and Fox News Channel. Now shes going to do the same for MSNBC.
The NBCUniversal-owned cable-news outlet said Thursday that it had hired Van Susteren to anchor its 6 p.m. hour, which had previously been occupied by a political-news program, With All Due Respect. That program, hosted by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin, had been produced by Bloomberg Television and re-played on MSNBC as part of a programming agreement.
Van Susteren, who left Fox News Channel in the wake of a contract dispute last year, will now hold down the hour in an original program, the network said.
Her show, For the Record with Greta, will debut Monday, Jan. 9.
Her hire marks the second time in recent days that NBCUniversal has dipped into a talent pool long associated with the conservative-leaning Fox News Channel and suggests that the company, where NBCU News Group chairman Andy Lack oversees both MSNBC and NBC News, is working to lure an audience that it perceives to be in tune with the current political climate, in which Republicans control the White House and both sides of Congress. NBC News said Tuesday that it had hired Fox News primetime host Megyn Kelly to launch both a daytime program and a Sunday newsmagazine.

Now we get to see yet again how these news “presstitutes” change their tune on how news is presented.
We have known via the WikiLeaks emails that the MSM takes orders from the Rats. If Greta bucks this trend, she will simply be passing through.
Sorry to hear this. I never watch MSNBC and I never will.
“I had a crush on her (don’t tell my wife).”
This is your wife. I finally busted ya!! Make your own dinner.
Why won’t somebody hire Shep???
No one forced Greta out at FOX.
She left of her own volition.
And she is a multi, multi millionaire so she doesn't have to go to MSNBC to scrape the bottom of the barrel.
It is her choice.
If Greta had stayed at FOX she would be the reigning queen of the evening prime time now that Megyn has jumped ship to become the White Oprah.
Now, with Greta and Megyn gone, Martha McCalum gets a well earned chance at being the only female hosting an evening show on FOX.
And I wouldn't be surprised to see her do very well.
I had a crush on her (don’t tell my wife).
I just glad the crush wasn’t on Shep Smith..
I’ve never been a huge fan of Van Susteren, but I do want to run this buy FReepers.
She is a very capable person. Moving her to MSNBC does what?
If my perception is right, it means MSNBC will be moving more toward the center. I don’t see Gretta going full tilt left.
Instead of going after her for going to MSNBC, perhaps we should take this as a win, and thank her, wish here well.
Looks like FoxNews may not be the only entity moving more to the Right.
Trump Effect / More of the winning we’ve become accustomed to.
Good place for someone stupid enough to fall for Scientology.
MSNBC can’t afford Shep. His makeup costs are too high.
I enjoyed her show on FOX. She seemed very centered when she reported the news. I’ll be curious to see if she starts leaning left.
I have watched Greta and Megan. I would see who they were having on and turn on those segments. Unfortuantely, for them, I won’t be watching them on PMSNBC. Greta conflicts with Bret Baer and I work during the day, thus Megan is on when I’m not watching tv, just like Gretchen Carlson was.
Please,someone.....TAKE SHEMP SMITHERS TOO!!!!
i’ll bet the DUmmies are losing their collective minds
I liked Greta. She seemed to have a great rapport with Sarah and Todd Palin .
I’m used to peanut butter sandwiches. I’ve grown to like them.
At least there are no semi naked photos of Shep floating around.
Please, Lord let there be no half naked photos of Shep floating around!
If I remember correctly, Greta left because of a clause in her contract that said if Ailes left she was free to go. I believe Hannity has the same option. I dont think she will go left. I remember watching her years ago on HLN.....she was on between Nancy Grace and Lou Dobbs.
Net worth: $35 million. Buys a lot of groceries.
Sleep on the couch! ;-)
