Chicago police say they are investigating a video circulating on social media that shows several people beating a man at a residence.
Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said at a news conference Wednesday that four suspects are in custody. Formal charges have not been filed.

Whites would do well to remember that when the left shrugs off black on white hate crimes, they are tacitly admitting that black on white crime is “normal” and does not rise to the level of a special class of crime such as a “hate crime”.

I’m in Chicago. Hate crime laws should be repealed. Criminals should be punished because of what they did, not because of what they were thinking, when they did it. That victim’s physical pain would be the same, if he was attacked because of his race, mental problems, religion, or any other reason.
Take a look at the British press, their coverage is often much better than ours.

When somebody says on internet video "f--- white people", it should be taken as evidence that racial hatred was a motivating factor. It most assuredly WOULD have been if the races were reversed.

obama has whitewashed everything the black terror kids have done for 8 years. It just tells them they can keep doing it. The media too... they are guilty of deaths due to their whitewashing racist attitude for all the time obama has been in power.
They do it because they can .. no punishment, no consequences.
The threats and hate hurled at Trump is also the fault of the media and obama taking the attitude they have taken. Riots, murders, attacks.. laid at the feed of the media and what they report about the President Elect. I look forward to the ‘consequences’ kicking in after Jan 20th. A man will be in the house!

Furthermore, if we are going to bring race into everything, it needs to be done equitably. I propose that a news organization gets two choices:
1. Leave the mention of race out of every crime report.
2. Specify the race of every victim and perp in every crime report.
Pick one.
I do so often. It’s amazing how much better they are. In this case, I was specifically looking for a news story from a liberal publication so this guy might actually read it instead of trashing the source.

Hate crimes are an oxymoron... a murder victim is dead regardless of the motivation of the perpetrator. It’s a mistake to validate the dialogue by lamenting the inconsistent way in which it’s applied. We should instead be loudly decrying it’s very existence because it’s, as illustrated by the current dialogue around these people, designed to corral the majority. Hate crimes are dangerous because they deal with ideals. That should piss us off and we should drive them out of the legal process as well as the social dialogue.

I think everyone’s problem with FOX is that come election time, the network returns to schilling for the GOPe. When it is not an election, however, the network does alright by me. I also think FOX sold its soul to Megyn during the last election and got nadda but a sayonara for it efforts.
I have a problem with Shep Smith editorializing when he’s supposed to be the #1 breaking news guy. And he has poor taste in mascara.
