The Environmental Protection Agency is asking all its employees whether they are straight, gay, or something else in an effort to create a more inclusive workplace.
The Washington Free Beacon obtained a copy of the agencys Sexual Orientation Gender Identity (SOGI) survey, which is part of a pilot program to voluntarily collect information on its employees.
The survey first asks the employees pay grade, supervisory status, education, age, marital status, and race, before inquiring, What sex were you assigned at birth?
The EPA wants to know how many of its employees are Straight, that is, not Lesbian or Gay, lesbian or gay, bisexual, or Something else.

These people are freaking nuts.
“And maybe, hand them off to the states. Divide it up and let the states take responsibility for their own environmental protection.”
Ohio has it’s own, the OEPA. I dealt with them on a montly basis. I figured each state had it’s own. Answerable and controlled by the feds though.
If I am ‘straight’ that must mean none hetros are warped, twisted, crooked, bent, mangled....now it makes sense.
If mandatory, it is illegal.
Does the EEOC allow this?
A: The one God gave me.
You are right, most states already have their own. Come to think of it, I’ve dealt with them (indirectly) in my state...
Which means I suppose EPA itself could be shut down entirely.
Your government at work.
This is illegal.
First, consider the following side note about the EPA. The states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds the specific power to deal with environmental issues.
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
The EPA is therefore an unconstitutional federal office imo.
As patriots support Trump in draining the unconstitutionallly big federal government swamp, Trump will need to do the following. He will need to work with the states to see if they want to police the environment themselves, or amend an environmental protection amendment to the Constitution to grant the feds the specific power to do so.
Regarding the EPAs question to exployees, it is arguably a violation of the Constitutions no religious test" clause (6.3) imo. This is because the question may be an indirect way of asking if employees have religious convictions, a problem if the federal bosses in question are non-believers or pro-LGBT with an ax to grind.
Insights welcome.
Sounds illegal to me. It is none of any employers business.
The EPA is unconstitutional and, therefore, illegal. Nowhere does the Constitution delegate enumerated power to the feds over the environment. Environmental issues are states' issues.
The signatories on this memo should be hauled up before a tribunal and given a quiz. (PASS/FAIL)
The whole EPA is illegal because it is unconstitutional. Nowhere does the Constitution delegate enumerated power to the feds over the environment. Environmental issues are states’ issues.
Giving the feds that power would require more than just state assent. It would require a constitutional amendment, necessary for any change to the Constitution.
In the meantime...
NUKE THE UNCONSTITUTIONAL EPA!!!
Whatever happened to don’t ask, don’t tell?
There were 2.7 million federal employees in 2013 per a google search. A different result said 15.7 percent of all workers in the country work for the government.
Stripes! Hahaha
“...I think they should ask which orifice they use the most....”
I mostly use my mouth. Unless I eat some tainted food ...
What position do you like best?
Name your favorite sexual fantasy.
Sheesh
