The comments are very interesting, they seem to be mostly British rather than dominated by Americans, as for instance the Daily Mail can be when commenting upon US politics. And yet, these British are using our shorthand, slang and idioms.
Liberals have long been something entirely different over there to the point of being the inverse of our usage, but now they’re the same. Libtards, snowflakes, safe spaces, MSM, elites ... they’re using all these terms, which could easily have been ripped straight off of FR or any number of other US conservative commentary sites.
Who has this level of international reach? It’s just occurred with this election, I’ve long observed international reaction to US conservative political thought. Is it Reddit? Or, is it due to perceived common ground, between Trump and Brexiteers, as well as the many other movements in other EU nations?
It’s a curious thing. We appear to have developed genuine international compatriots, here. That’s no small thing. It could have very far-reaching repercussions for the future.
“The liberal and cultural establishment can’t now be surprised...”
Oh, but they are surprised. They believe they determine what transpires, what people think, what is acceptable and what is not. You just have to look at the NYTimes in order to see the smugness and arrogance - in short, that they are in control, and that Trump will just come crashing down.
They just don’t get it.
He "stepped up", that's what I say ... with alacrity! And it was indeed a daring step, as you imply. And he never flinched. It was very amazing, and I for one, evidently among many, was electrified.
It’s a tactic called cultural confusion ... long used by usurpers to conquer from within. It is insidious and most do not notice until it is too late.
It was an act of God. I didn’t say an act of religiosity. Donald Trump is one of the last persons on earth that could be accused of this.
Hopefully he has opened a future where men like him will step up and be the leaders we need. Because the fight against the left and others (against Satan really), will never end.
I always keep my hate in check, blind hate leads to mistakes.
It could blind me to the perfect methodology of KILLING EVERY GODDAMN LIB/PROG/TRANSI/DEMOCRAT peice of puking sh!t in this country and all the surrounding countries of the world.
And yes, I do pray they will all go to hell, where their true boss is located.
He’s positively disposed to Christianity, even if he’s not exactly lived a Christian life personally. He appears to be moving in the direction of a more personal, rather than cultural disposition. At a minimum, he’s a friend rather than a foe, and that is certainly a positive development over the outgoing administration, and seems to me to be a bit more genuine than even the Bush administration preceding.
Yep, Christian-friendly. I was just pointing out that he isn’t religiose about it. Mike Pence may have a more demonstrative demeanor.
But the Christian model itself is something that does not always show an obvious surface. Christianity is about forgiven and saved sinners rather than about plaster saints.
That's not a prayer my friend, that's a curse. Just sayin'
Pray yourself out from under God’s grace if you really insist....
Oh, curses are a kind of prayer. God allows for it... otherwise love would be a puppet show and not a voluntary act.
I was born a REDNECK.
I have lived as a REDNECK.
I will die a REDNECK.
And DAMNED PROUD OF IT.
I’m likely to get flamed for saying this, but I trust Trump more than Pence, politically. Pence has proved to be the ideal choice for VP thus far, he’s been a very loyal trooper to my knowledge. However, there’s an element of Poppy Bush being appended to Ronald Reagan going on in my perception, if you follow my reasoning such as it is.
The real rednecks are proud of what God can do.
Ive said it multiple times in many years: we cannot co-exist with liberals. I dont even pray for these pukes and if I did, it would be for their immediate demise. But nooooo, some limp-wristed Freepers keep telling me to keep my hate in check blah blah
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Every word you’ve written could have been written by me. I’ve been telling people for years that “these pukes” are either evil or ignorant or both. Friends and family know exactly how I feel and why I will not communicate on any level with anyone who I know to be a leftist. It’s takes a great deal of willpower for me to refrain from getting hostile verbally and/or physically with these filthy Marxist-inspired, anti-Americans. And in my view, anyone on the Right who reaches out to these despicable people is simply naive and therefore part of the problem.
We got more information than the dems wanted us to have about the dnc and hillary.
And more informed people made their choices.
We ultimately have to watch to read these proverbial tea leaves, which are dynamic.
Pence has space to be bolder with Donald Trump backing him, than he was in Indiana alone.
The significant thing to me is spiritual, not even political. Pence believes in a path back from the curse of homosexuality, rather than just wanting either to indulge them or to dump them summarily into hell. Could it be a sixth sense of Donald Trump that zeroed in on him? I’m thinking it’s possible.
And therefore both of you lock yourselves into a box, a box that not even Donald Trump will personally approve of. I believe you will both find yourselves ultimately disappointed with Donald Trump if you do not change your tunes.
