Hmmm. Lengthy but interesting(to me anyway). Guess too many "stars" are not interested in supporting DJT. Or, maybe he just wants to get started on draining the swamp.

TRUMP is having a party for his SUPPORTERS. Wealthy donors and “stars” are on the outside looking in. LOL

The fewer “stars” the better. If I want to hear irrelevant opinions based on emotion and hedonism I’ll go hang out at a public school or college.

These “stars” don’t realize it yet but they are losing influence with every passing day.

I am hoping that after being sworn in he will go to his office and sign EOs cancelling as much of Obama’s harm as he can in one afternoon.

Then he can announce these EOs at the balls that evening to tremendous applause.

We need a live TRUMP-CAM to follow the Donald around all day from saying the oath to signing the order releasing all of Zero’s records, to the Inaugural Ball.

Yeah, Thanksgiving, days after the election, 2 months before taking office, he negotiates with Carrier to save 1000 jobs.

Remember when Obama took office? There was an ice storm down in Tennessee or Kentucky. 10's of thousands of people without power in freezing weather...

And Obama was more interested in a Super Bowl party in the White Hut.

(if you forgot, just do a search of obama super bowl party ice storm)

He ought to have an inauguration like Andrew Jackson did. Maybe he could set up a big tent on the White House lawn and have an open house.

That would really piss off the elitists both in the media and hollyweird. It will distress them to find out they are not "special".

Whether it’s because the stupid “stars” or not, this is as it should be. We don’t need a spectacle. Personally I say the swearing-in should be inside (televised) as well; it will save tons of money on security and avoid lots of mayhem.

Trump should have some aids bringing him EOs to sign while Hussein is speaking.

"Trump will only have three official inaugural balls as compared with 10 separate balls for Barack Obama’s 2009 inauguration."

Obama was/is about I,I,Me,Me,Me,while PE Trump is about the American People. Quite a big positive difference between the two?

The only stars he needs is a military band playing the Star Spangled Banner and then get down to work.

Maybe we could carry a torch across the country, like in the Olympics, touching only red districts, and when it gets to D.C. during the inaguration we can light a bonfire of ObamaCare, TPP, and any other regulations he will eliminate in the first 100 days.

If you watched all his rallies, it’s no surprise that he isn’t a glitz and glitter type guy - he likes to do it up right but not to the point it becomes kitschy....

He’s a Working Man at heart. So he wants to get to work. Gotta respect that. He has class.

A Freeper said it best - “he’s just like us... but with a LOT more money...”

Truly I say, regardless of who is president, I’d like to see less pomp every time.

On the one hand, just showing up for work Jan 21 seems a little too low key. Some sort of ceremony, reinforcing the truth of a peaceful transition of power, is right.

But we are not crowning a king. It gets really over the top.

I love this guy! Go Trump!

Nothing would tickle me more than right after the swearing in, he hands off a piece of paper and says “Arrest these people now.”

Is there a time set for Trump’s speech? That is what I’m interested in hearing. If they aren’t going to do Patriotic music I could care less who performs. Celebrating the USA’s greatness is better than a hit song by some singer.

The National Anthem and Pledge are a must. Lots of Patriotic music that has been forgotten in favor of rap crap or hip hop. A real 4th of July Special like in the old days.

The Donald is driven to make things right. I can sense it in him. He is a proud man, in that he has taken on the greatest challenge of his life and he wants to prove himself. He is very protective of his reputation and this will bode well for Americans. What he says, he will do everything he can to accomplish. That’s the way he is.
