Democrats Planning Alternate 'We The People' Mega-Concert For Inauguration Day
Town Hall ^ | Dec 23, 2016 11:00 | Christine Rousselle

While there are few actually confirmed details as of now, there's apparently a massive, star-studded "We The People" concert being planned for Miami on the day of Donald Trump's inauguration. The idea is to counter Trump's inauguration and garner higher television ratings than the swearing-in. Normally, the presidential inaugurals carry several a-list acts, but Trump has had issues booking artists to perform. So far, the only confirmed acts are Jackie Evancho (singing the National Anthem), the Rockettes, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Rumored artists include Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Elton John.

[...]To add insult to injury, concert promoter Mark Ross is reportedly "in the process of putting together a large-scale concert called 'We the People' to directly complete with Donald Trump's inauguration," Politico reports. Ross doesn't have any performers announced yet, although a person familiar with the planning leaked that "the talent is banging on our doors to do this." Then again, the communications director for the Presidential Inaugural Committee, Boris Epshteyn, also bragged that "first class entertainers are eager to participate in the inaugural events," and we all know how that's going. While artists and concert promoters are free to do whatever they'd like, this still strikes me as being rather petty. Donald Trump won the election and he was elected president of the United States. He will continue to be president of the United States even if nobody watches him be sworn in because they're too distracted by the likes of Madonna and Lady Gaga. A mega-concert cannot change the fact that he won more Electoral College votes than Hillary Clinton did.

Rumored to be artists, are they? Those rumors are definitely untrue.

The best Inauguration performance would be Trump going to a posium immediately following the swearing-in. On the podium will be a stack of all of Hussein’s EOs and maybe some of the Bushs’ and Mr Bill’s. He will with a flourish cancel them one at a time, then go to the White House and begin the actual paperwork to get the job done.

Yeah, all couple of hundred will show up and the MSMLSD photog’s will compress the picture to make it look like thousands and thousands showed. Better believe that Soros and his ilk are planning disruptions.

It is one thing for the radical left to plan protests on Inauguration Day, it is another for the main Democratic establishment to behave in such a disrespectful manner collectively. This concert, if it indeed occurs, will scuttle any chance of bipartisan cooperation and further sour an already sour political atmosphere.

One last thing, Americans generally dislike sore losers. This pouty, pissy, ill-tempered behavior by Democrats during the period period between the Election and the Inauguration will stain their brand indelibly and will be exploited to their disadvantage at every opportunity.

Dems have no boundries of any decency at all. They break every rule of long held decorum and fairness, but how they squawk loudly and horribly if we don’t seem to follow perfectly every rule and protical as they perceive they should be, only as they apply to us. We all know that they are so hypothetical as to be astoundingly and profoundly ridiculous. They are raunchy and putridly foul. They positively stink.

You know what? Trump's inauguration is going to go off fine either way.

I hope he's able to get "A-list" performers to help celebrate it, but if not, I'm sure it'll be done in such a way as to make the Dems regret their shameful pettiness.

The more the Dems throw such childish tantrums, with the American People watching, the more hated and irrelevant they will become.

They are simply lashing out in their utter impotence, and, believe me, President Trump and his team will find a thousand ways to rub their noses in the fact of who's really running the show. They can pound all the petty sand they want.

If the failed Democrats and their ilk choose to behave this way, it simply ensures that their defeat will become all the more complete and enduring.

The Dems will be ground into dust by the "winning" which President Trump will pile on them every single day of his administration. We'll be begging President Trump "Please, in the name of humanity, don't subject us to any more winning. Look what it has done to our poor brethren, the Democrats. We can't take it anymore!"

Normal people are sick of all the loser BS period. I hope they keep it up. Maybe next time they’ll only get California’s and New York electoral votes.

Maybe Trump should have fireworks and a glass ceiling for Kellyanne Conway to break as the first winning woman campaign manager.

Not getting the message yet, apparently. I hope that they keep up the good work until the end of 2018. That will probably finish off the Democratic Party as a mainstream organization.
