A federal judge in Colorado on Monday denied a motion filed by two electors who want to avoid voting for the presidential candidate who won the state's popular vote in an effort to keep Donald Trump out of the White House.
According to thedenverchannel.com, Judge Wiley Daniel said granting the injunction to allow electors to vote against the popular vote would "undermine" the electoral process.
He advised the plaintiffs to try to change state law if they were unhappy instead.

I believe the strategy was that a federal court decision would apply to all states, not just Colorado. Or at least it would have given enough Trump electors a basis to switch their votes, especially those aligned with the crooked GOPe.
In today’s America anything could happen.
They don't need a basis if they're prone. The various state laws where they even exist are largely toothless. A fine.
They’re trying to set a legal precedent for not having to vote according to anyone’s state results, not theirs.
Why bother even having elections when they have no semblance of them being binding? Correct ruling. Can’t change the rules as we go along in the election process. But, the rules are usually different for Democrats. EXCEPT this time. Sore losers can’t figure out for the life of them why they lost. Need a reality check.

Get the green light to not vote for your state nominee. That then transfers to
Trump voters and allows them to vote for someone else. Just creates havoc.
If it can be done on one side of the ballot it can be done on the other side.
