The latest in a string of American cities hitting all-time highs in the number of murders, including Tulsa and Louisville. Surpassing even the grim days of the early-90's crack-era.
As Trump would say, "Sad!"

I live in a Memphis suburb and my home is about a mile from the Memphis city limits. My town has had one murder this year. I believe it was only the 2nd murder of the past ten years. I’m in the actual city of Memphis every day. Many of us live and work here without fear of crime. But those living in the rough black neighborhoods of Memphis are a different story entirely. It’s like another world. I would bet 90% of the murder victims were black.

Who was it who said, “Records are made to be broken?”
It would be nice to break the homicide record on the down-side, though!

Louisville has a liberal mayor. He’s more concerned that leaves are put in recyclable bags.
