Lessee, here ...
Should we pick older, experienced men with demonstrable records of success?
Or should we pick young, inexperienced academics with no practical exposure to real life?
To: Innovative
No, he should pick unemployed, undisciplined poor people.

Did Obama have any cabinet picks that weren’t lawyers?
Never saw a headline, “Obama picks all lawyers for cabinet posts”

They seem to imply that previous presidents have chosen random high-school dropouts off the streets of Chicago.

Interesting to note that Trump is going against the SOP politcial grain. With a few exceptions, rather then following the Poltical Establishment SOP of going to Universities to hire theoreticians, or hiring career poltical/lobbyists type, he is going to the private sector to hire people with private sector experience or to the military to hire from the warrior class of generals.
His appointments are completely in keeping with this “drain the swamp” promise.

And who did Obama pick for his first cabinet? Government hacks and corrupt grifters.

Trump picks people who have made lots of money by doing a good job. Obama and Hillary pick people who have made lots of money by political cheating.

It sure is better than picking by race, ethnicity, because they are fellows MARXISTS/COMMIES/SOCIALISTS, people who were also mentored by one’s handler ( i.e. Valerie Jarrett ), and they came from your state’s Lefty political party machine.

He should choose by skin color, perversion preference, privileges of particular religions, gender, Oh, wait...we're done with that BS.
I'm so sick of these media ‘wizards’.

IOW he is picking proven, successful people, which is a good sign, showing he is serious about working to "make America great again". Which is something bordering on revolutionary. Instead of hiring lawyers, "lifetime politicians," theoreticians from academia or the biggest donor to the Democratic Party, Trump is hiring people with real world experience.

I think he should hire unemployed people off the street, preferably with no work experience, and less than an eighth grade education.

Trump promised to hire the best and the brightest.
Who knew the best and the brightest would mean some rich people who had proven themselves in a business environment, or upper levels of Military staff service?
How dare he! And he’s keeping his word too. What a jerk! /s
Wouldn’t catch a Democrat keeping their word.
