A case like that will take four years to wind through the system at a minimum.
And the Constitution puts these decisions firmly in the hands of the states.

Two members of the Electoral College pledged to support Hillary Clinton have filed a lawsuit intended to undo the presidential-election victory of Donald Trump. Some people are very confused.

How much money did they get from Hillary?
Talk about corruption...
I hope the judge throws out their insane case.

Should they win their long-shot lawsuit, it will have no effect in Colorado Mrs. Clinton won the state and its nine Electoral College votes. But wouldn't the change mean that Colorado electors could vote for Trump?
But similar laws in other states that voted for Mr. Trump would also be invalid, meaning all 538 members of the Electoral College could vote for whomever they wished at least potentially undoing the result of the election.
I thought each state set their own rules. This sounds like wishful thinking on somebody's part.

If it’s a mess, it goes to the House, which is loaded with Republicans. No problem, I believe.

They are actually doing this in order to get a ruling against most electoral binding laws so that electors in Trump states won’t be bound to vote for Trump. That’s the real motive.
As somebody who actually supports electors being free, I nonetheless wish these people would get down on their knees and thank their lucky stars that their commie criminal hag did not win. Any Trump electors thinking of defecting should think again. This is a moral issue, not a legal one, IMO. Do these people want their country to survive, or don’t they?
PING!

No, typical of the left. Anyone changing their obligation to vote according to the will of the people and the oath taken, should be replaced, tried, imprisoned for a long time, and then executed. Or skip the second step.
