Labrador is a Rep from my neighboring state, Idaho. He’s fairly conservative and from what I’ve seen and heard he seems to be a good guy. This may be an info gathering meeting or perhaps Trump is considering him for a position - hard to say.

I sure hope Trump picks someone from the Western part of the US (that is not a tree-hugger) for the Interior as the Easterners don’t have a clue how much of the land has been taken over by the Fed Gov and the regulations imposed (such as not clearing underbrush in forests) are making all the fires worse. Not to mention the owls in WA, the little fish in CA, etc., etc. Easterners don’t have the issues with the type of things we have out here (not meaning to offend any TF members in the East and not lumping you in with “Easterners”, which are primarily gov folks). That said, Sally Jewell, current Sect’y of Interior, resides in Seattle and was head of REI, but she’s a tree hugger.

I think Joe announced during the last rally thet RSBN will indeed have WH press credentials.

I sure agree with you on this.

Every time we turn around out here, the federal gov. is declaring more land as theirs.

I’ll never forget Bubba going to the Grand Canyon and declaring the Escalante Staircase in UT as federally protected.

MY daughter and her husband, who live in southern Utah, have been fighting the federal gov. for years as they grab up more land around them.

This business that the federal gov. from DC can better take care of our lands out west is just BS.

They have an agenda driven by the treehugger lobbiests and wacko environmentalists that is behind all this as we all very well know.

The regulations have been so anti-forest and business.

And don’t forget that adorable little red squirrel of AZ that has logging and business.
