Trump Derangement Syndrome on full display. Man claims to be witness to murder of Joe McKnight and that the shooter pulled Joe out of his car, tossed the former NFL player to the ground, shouted "I voted for Trump!" and fired the deadly shot.
Not only did the 'witness' commit a crime in lying, he caused national strife and outrage. Leftists, of course, blamed Trump.
Entire thing a lie.

There's a difference in "being inaccurate" and making up events that have no bearing on what actually happened.
The same thing happened in the Michael Brown shooting. Some eye witnesses simply made up stuff, while others were more ‘accurate’. This happens all the time.
Lefty Libs lie about being Trump voters when they shoot someone or when they are trolling FR or some other conservative site while posting some mediot bs and expressing their great concerns (lies).

I understand the concept - it just seems a bit ironic that those who make up the stuff that throws people into fits tend to be biased by race or politics - or both....

Then when the story is proved to be a lie lock up the “witness” for Obstructing Governmental Administration which is a misdemeanor in New York. When the police start doing this this crap will come to an end.
At least the witness didn’t say the NFL thug was “reading a book” when he was shot.

I think I remember that. Said a hate crime occurred, when she carved “B” onto her face while looking into a mirror. LOL.
There was another female “eyewitness” who said they were arguing in the street when Gasser shot him twice and then shot him again as he lay on the ground.
The evidence seems to show that Gasser was in his own car when he fired.
You can guess the ethnic affiliation of that woman.
It's classic tribal behavior. When one of their people gets into an altercation with a member of some other tribe, the pre-programmed witness behavior kicks in. In this case, it has a racial component.
That isn't always the case; in New Orleans it is often seen where residents of differing public housing developments come into conflict. In other areas, it's the classic Crips vs. Bloods vs. Latin Kings vs. whomever. "My people dindu nuffin wrong".
