On November 28, Abdul Razak Ali Artan, a Somali-born Muslim inspired by ISIS, went on a rampage at Ohio State University. He injured 11 when he rammed his car into a group of students with murderous intent and then immediately went on a knife attack before campus security shot him dead.
No soon had this fanatic's body reached room temperature then Stephanie Clemons Thompson, employed as something called an “assistant director of resident life a Ohio State,” started calling for sympathy and compassion for Artan and lamented that he was taken out so quickly. In her Facebook posing, Thompson refers to Artan as a "BUCKEYE, a member of our family."

True, Artan was no doubt properly enrolled at OSU, just as he was legally in the U.S., brought here as a refugee sponsored by Catholic Charities. But although the i's may have been dotted, the t's crossed, and all the technicalities satisfied, this man was never a Buckeye or an American in any true sense. He was an alien in our society, brought here perhaps with good intentions but with no critical thinking involved.
This incident at OSU is an example of the Obama administration's reckless refugee resettlement policy. One has to wonder how many others like Abdul Razak Ali Artan are here existing like potential time bombs, ready to explode if America does not show what they consider to be proper deference to them and their religion.

They may also be in violation,and subject to prosecution, under several other laws.
If these actions affect interstate commerce and trade, they should be prosecuted under the Hobbs Act. The Hobbs Act 18 U.S. Code § 1951, passed in 1946, is a federal law that prohibits robbery or extortion, or attempted robbery or extortion, that affects interstate or foreign commerce.
The Hobbs Act originally was designed to target racketeering in labor-management disputes that were common at the time.

I really need to reject the statement the he was “sponsored by Catholic Charities.” This is a deliberate ruse to throw the blame upon a charitable organization.
When the federal government authorizes a group of refugees to enter the country, they/the government must find a creditable organization to handle the influx in a mannerly way. This is where catholic Charities and Lutheran Social Services have been tapped to do the coordinating of the refugees’ introduction to the USA, it’s laws, it’s required physical exams, etc.
So, it is incorrect to call this a sponsorship by Catholic Charities - as they are doing the grunt work that the government requires.
This deranged arrogant megalomaniac unaccountably got into American politics under false pretenses.
His disgusting European apology tour certainly proved his rank hatred of America. His capabilities in office demonstrated a remarkable proclivity for looting the US Treasury.

Republicans control at least one branch of government in all but 5 states. So, for the life of me, I cannot understand why Republicans have let state colleges engage in this politically correct totalitarianism. Any Republican state legislature or governor should use whatever means possible to withhold funds or put the charter in jeopardy of any state college or university that engages in this nonsense. Its ridiculous that they haven’t already.

Homeland Security seeks $41.2 billion budget for 2016

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson announced a $41.2 billion budget request Monday for the 2016 fiscal year.
The budget would improve the unity of effort at the department, Johnson said, focusing on harmonizing DHS business processes. Along with the budget, a new Common Appropriations Structure was also submitted to Congress, which would standardize financial planning, programming and budgets for all DH agencies, Johnson said.
There are five areas the department focuses on each year, and the budget is in alignment with those five missions, Johnson said.
<><> The first mission is to prevent terrorism and enhance security in the country by implementing security for the land, air and at sea.
<><> The next mission is to secure and manage the countrys borders, and reduce the number of illegal immigrants and amount of contraband getting into the United States.
<><> The third mission includes enforcing and administering immigration laws and providing safe and secure detention of illegal immigrants in federal custody if they are a flight risk or a public safety concern.
<><> The fourth mission deals with safeguarding and securing cyberspace, which impacts economic security. The 2016 budget would invest in technology and staff to reduce cybercrime and improve the security of federal network defenses.
<><> The fifth mission, Johnson said, is to strengthen national preparedness and resilience so the country can prepare and respond to any type of disaster.
Johnson said before Congress approves any funding for the next fiscal year lawmakers should approve funding for the current year.
The Presidents FY 2016 Budget provides the resources necessary for the Department of Homeland Security to further strengthen our efforts to fulfill our wide-ranging missions, while also being agile and vigilant in the face of ever-evolving threats and recent world events, Johnson said. But prior to acting on the FY 2016 Budget, I urge Congress to fully fund DHS for the rest of this fiscal year, as the current continuing resolution is disruptive, creates uncertainty, and impedes efficient resource planning and execution.

Correct. After the Communist takeover of Vietnam, my wife and I volunteered to take in a Vietnamese refugee family. We got one, arranged by the Tolstoy Foundation (I had never heard of them before that). We kept the family in our house for a few weeks, then get them moved into an apartment. That was years ago. We lost touch with them when we moved to here. So far as I know, they have adapted to American life.
As a Vietnam vet, I felt we'd let their country down, and I wanted to do something to help. I don't regret helping them. Although they were supposed to get some support money from the Feds, we never saw any of it. We fed them and clothed the kids at our own expense.
During my Air Force career I worked with blacks, I commanded blacks, and in one case my commanding officer was a black. I respected every one of them. They were all competent people, and did their jobs well.
Just where do these Diversity hires come from? None of them could hold a candle to the blacks I knew in the Air Force.
