West of Israel the Middle East is mostly China’s problem now.
They have need of the oil, money to invest, and investment and trade possibilities there.
The West no longer has any of that. The new Silk Road is just good economics.

Look for China to call the shots there henceforth, with their client states Russia, Iran and (soon) Turkey.

Too true...it seems to be a disease associated with some form of Democracy combined with too much prosperity. Trump can immediately nullify Obama's action on that Iran "deal" by submitting it to the Senate as a treaty for ratification, while recommending it be rejected. When they refuse the necessary 2/3's vote, "POOF" , it is gone, over and done with. No one at home or abroad will then be able to maintain it has any force at all.
