I look at that brave young man risking his life to defend a complete stranger, and tears come to my eyes. Most of our college students in the US would soil their pants in a similar situation.

From what I’ve read, that scene was not originally shot like that.........They originally shot it using his bullwhip to disarm the guy, but Harrison and the guy got together and did the gunshot scene and everybody thought it was so funny they kept it.................
One could always try blocking the knife with a pineapple when he charges yelling “Aloha, Snack bar”
But what if he has a pointed stick?
Heard a variation of that....
They had originally written an elaborate boss battle with the swordsman, and after several lengthy, tiring, and unsuccessful takes, Ford ad-libbed the shot with the revolver out of shear exhaustion.
Wonder what actually happened.
