Malcolm was a super nice guy who died way too young, as a complication of Meningitis. I will always remember him as the guy that had time to mentor up and coming shooters.
I don't know his political leanings, but most shooters are pretty conservative and he was in the business of making sniper rifles. I can't help but think he would take great pride in the fact his company produces what are arguably the best rifles in the world.
There are a couple vendors in the USA.
Here’s one

The 308 to 338 conversion is not widely available yet but I have heard of people who got them.
The replaceable barrels is what I like.
Who wants to drag around a 27” unless you really need it.
Talked to a Sheriff last weekend who said AI did a demo for them with barrel removal and replacement.
Printed in the exact same spot with .5 MOA on .338 or .308
NOT cheap but much cheaper than two rifles and two scopes.
Found the link for the kit and all the replacement barrels.

Only works with the AXMC platform but their are youtube videos showing how easy barrel replacement is.
Now this is COOL!

full 338 Lapua all fit in a 20” Pelican Case.
One of my brother’s friends is former SAS.He was a hand to hand combat instructor. Not the person to pick a fight with in a bar.
I worked with a few guys who were SF, LRRP, SEALs in Vietnam. They were all decent guys. They usually had some stories to tell, too.
Available for only US$8,174 - choce of colors: black, green, pale brown.
Exactly, this is a loose lips need to shut the hell up incident.
No sniper wants this type of publicity.
This ain’t a sport.
The way it was explained to me by a friend from 21st Artist Rifles is that they never answer to any praise because they will also never answer to any criticism.
They have the most difficult job in the British military and occasionaly, particularly in their fight against the PIRA an innocent victim was killed in their actions...
True. Look back to that former Gen that Bush made the head man in charge. The Iraqi army guys wanted their back pay when the statue fell. That was it. They had the their Army left with AK’s. The stupid Gen says no to these guys, so; they fought our troops. What a fool.
We have a number of wannabes. I ran into many wannabe SF at the VA. Here is the site a few friends put up for MACV SOG wannabes.

These guys were all legit. We worked in one of the alphabet “Agencies” in DoD. You got checked out six ways to Sunday before you were hired on.
The SOG men are legit. The wannabes are not.
Bad Tolz,,,
I have a WWII cigarette case with that name stimpeled into it,,
Any more back story about the Place?
Bad Tolz was where 10th Group started. Lenggries is nearby and that was used for other schools. This was after WWII. You should look up the area and WWII as the area is in Bavaria. Mountains, streams, etc. Germany is very beautiful in Bavaria.
Good eye, Troop.
Don’t tell anyone,
I just watched,
“The Sound of Music”
for the landscape.
