Donald Trump campaigned on a big promise: he would secure our border and confront the illegal immigration crisis head-on.
A lot of people doubted him. And why not? Politicians have been promising to do this for years, and they have let Americans down every single time.
That’s all about to change. Starting next month, the people are going to get what they asked for.
We are going to build the wall. Period. In the process, I pledge to stand side-by-side with the Trump administration to throw out Obama’s reckless immigration policies and start enforcing our nation’s laws.
In fact, we are already starting to work on an emergency plan in Congress to build the tough barriers we need along the border, close all gaps, and defend this country’s sovereignty.
But we are talking about more than just a wall. We are talking about a historic, multi-layered defense system so that drug cartels and terrorists cannot simply slip through the cracks.
This means more border patrol agents, new authorities, aerial surveillance, sensors, and other technology to make sure we seal our territory from illegals for good.
We will take a military-style approach by giving our border and immigration agencies the real command-and-control they need to make it happen...

Now, kill the TSA perverts, and give us real airline and rail security which doesn't harass regular Americans, maybe using private contractors.
Likewise, make way for an industry as technical as the credit card industry, to design and operate our visa program, keeping track of who they are, and where they are.
We need some military units on the border to repulse the border crossings by the Mexican Military Units. A-10s to perform cleanup in Mexico on the stragglers and their bases too.
I hope the landmines are part of the budget.

The first step to take us to send in special ops to the the Arizona-Mexico border areas to shoot the drug cartel spotters in the face.
Put a 50% tax on every wire transfer between the US and Mexico.

Great suggestion. That would do fora start and also help pay for the wall. One thing I would add to that is a provision to immediately cancel all green cards.
I hope it’s impermeable so amphibians and Mexican coyotes can’t get through. We have enough critters.

I'm only worried about two-legged critters, the ones that have anchor babies, the ones that demand social services at our expense, the ones that commit crimes here, and the ones that vote illegally in our elections.
In Texas we have five divisions within 250 miles of the TX Mexico border. It might be wise to deploy them. An initial show of force in great strength will prevent any rash actions by the Mexicans. Initially barb wire the Northern shore of the Rio Grande. Post military guards at all crossing points along with Border patrol agents. Send drones, patrol planes, armed Coast guard patrol craft up and down the river on a schedule. Interdict all crossers, dope smugglers, and vehicles within 150 feet of the boundary. Make that zone the boundary zone and declare it Federal property. Compensate those owning property within that zone and take possession. Construct a parallel patrol road within that zone. A Federal act w2ill probably need to be enacted to accomplish this land seizure. But it is needed to secure the country. Seize all vehicles, money, valuables, weapons , drugs, and papers from those discovered within the zone. Arrest all those found within the zone.
I hear you, but best not to let in the frogs either.

Until the wall gets built, I would not be averse to posting U.S. military forces on the border to prevent the inevitable mad rush to get in (invasion) before it goes up.
