His lead has crept up to 47,603 with rural counties coming in. Apparently, the big city counties (where Hillary got lots more votes) have all or almost all come in.

I heard that many states stopped counting absentee votes once Trump was declared winner. Being as many like myself, military or retired probably went with Trump, I’d like to know what states and the status...Are the un counted absentee votes retained?

Arizona had the 4th biggest move towards the Democrats from 2012 out of all the states, behind Utah, California and Texas. It underlines an incredible new and growing weakness for the GOP in the Southwest. Which means they may never be able to win presidential elections again without holding onto some of the rust belt Trump won, especially Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania was the 4th closest state in this election. It also suddenly seems to have become the single most important state in the electoral college for the GOP to hold onto in 2020. MI and WI were even closer, but Trump can afford to lose them if he keeps Pennsylvania. He can even afford to lose Arizona (which would give him a 269 tie given the current electoral math). Which if the trend of a 5 point swing to the Dems this time continues, will make AZ a losing state in 2020.

Pennsylvania’s influence in the electoral college is growing even though the population relative to the country continues a steady downward trend over the last 100 years, with only half the House-member-corresponding EVs we had 100 years ago.

However, the next reallotment of House seats won’t occur until 2023, so the next election will give us the identical electoral map to work with that we had this time.

The first thing I’d like to see Trump do is compile a database of all SSNs used to vote in the last election...

Is there any state that requires and records an SSN to vote?

Nobody stops counting votes. All the votes are counted. That’s why it has taken weeks for most states to report their final counts.

I heard that many states stopped counting absentee votes once Trump was declared winner.

A rumor without foundation. All votes are eventually counted.

When you stop and think about it...they have to be. After all, there are more races on the ballot than just the presidency.

They’re all counted. Local and state races still need to be counted even if the presidential question is moot.

I’m starting to think a few Freepers are a little dense. I still love them though. A dense Freeper is still better than a loony lefter.

Decision Desk hasn’t said results are finalized - apparently some rural districts are still tabulating.

That's OK - the biggest fraud revolves around the big cities.

These are not the final numbers at all. But merely the numbers so far.

I agree and after voting each person gets an indelible purple index finger showing he or she physically voted. No more absentee votes (no problem with that since national finger print or IRIS ID, right?). Even overseas this should work.

The Tally should be virtually continuous like the atomic clock ticking towards DoomsDay and every person’s electronic vote is id’s and noted on paper with indelible ink.

Crap on our current system.

Yes. Our current system is badly flawed.
