There will be a lot of these kinds of articles.

I researched Trump’s role in the old USFL and found an unflattering article about his involvement. Then, I researched further and found what he said about his involvement. He was convincing. Reporting can go either way on a lot of these events.

And one story is not going to define what Trump is about.

So O care is what it is, get over it. And manufacturing is never coming back to USA. Oh and I have screwed myself by not voting for Hillary. 5 million people just got health care for the 1st time and they are all Trump voters? and apparently we have chronic health problems while also being uneducated fools.

You’re right it isn’t news. Speculative brain droppings from alleged experts hasn’t worked yet. Its kind of funny though. Basically the Left uses the New York Times the same way the Right uses talk radio— for opinion and commentary. Only problem is their base doesn’t read newspapers. More conservatives will read this Krugman piece than liberals.

Trump can be “out there” sometimes, but for a guy with a jet and a twitter account he seems to have done all right. I’m no forecaster, but he’s been unconventional so far and there’s no reason to expect he will not continue to be so.

Has the stock market recovered yet from Trump’s surprise victory? Oh right, the “dip” lasted almost six hours.

Donald Trump won the Electoral College (though not the popular vote)

Drink!

The economic policies of Krugman and the Uniparty cartel he advises have seen 100 million people out of work.

Deep down he knows everything he has argued has been proven wrong and his entire lifes work has been Stumped by The Trump

There will be a lot of these kinds of articles.

What is sad is that Paul Krugman is a real Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The professional economist Krugman is a serious first rate economist whose "professional" body of work deserves high praise, but ... the public pandering schlock columnist Krugman is a journalistic hack of the worst kind.

The Slimes could up its game and try it's hand at professionally written articles. They might actually get a real audience.

“It really does now look like President Donald J. Trump, and markets are plunging. When might we expect them to recover?

Frankly, I find it hard to care much, even though this is my specialty. The disaster for America and the world has so many aspects that the economic ramifications are way down my list of things to fear.

Still, I guess people want an answer: If the question is when markets will recover, a first-pass answer is never.”

Well it’s also possible that Trump might manage to think America beyond Krugman’s academic economic box, rendering his opus useless because the context has exceeded it.

So instead of thinking more broadly, he damns that city bred hick Donald.

Pride goes before a fall.

What do we mean by markets, though.

It seems to me the stock market has turned into an absurd horse race betting parlor, with next to no consideration to dividends. The major profits there just come from other people’s bets, not from anything earned by the company.

This kind of bubble may indeed suffer or at least flatten out while substance fills it.

The point is to keep your eye on what’s important. Millions of Americans have just been sucker-punched. They just don’t know it yet.

Puke ...
