So, while we understand the heartfelt and strongly-held opinions on both sides of the gun debate, it is with the safety and security of our employees and customers in mind that we respectfully ask people not to bring firearms into our stores, offices or facilities, even in states where it’s permitted by law. Of course, authorized members of law enforcement are an exception.

Well, then my money isn’t welcome in their stores, either.

Not that I’ve ever paid the premium price Levi’s charges. . .

Generic jeans have always been fine by me. . .

Concealed means “you can’t see it”. They can ask for a baby unicorn for all I care.

Expecting Trump to make 2nd Amendment law of the land as the forefathers wanted it.

No restrictions anywhere.

I’m not smart enough to figure out the felons’ rights to a gun.

And since half the country is on anti depressants that should not be a factor.

"Asking. They cannot groom customers of lawfully owned property where public has right of access as invitees. Unless unlawful local or state law prohibits...which will surely die in court challenge. MHO."

In my jurisdiction it is a condition of my CCW permit that I can't carry into a business that posts a sign saying it isn't allowed. But they have to post the sign. Just releasing a statement to the media isn't enough. Without the sign I'm ignoring them.

I don't understand why businesses do this though. Their best course of action is to not say anything at all, because if they say anything on the subject there is guaranteed to be one group of people whom they piss off.

Wait, you need a sign. That should stop ‘em!

In Utah you carry (with conceal permit) in any place open to the public other than posted churches, courts and LEAs. Doesn’t affect fed facilities.

Add Dockers to that if you haven’t already. They’re a L-S product.

I was a Levis fan for decades. Kicked them to the curb in the late 90’s when I realized how anti-2A their ownership was.

>>I have a right to be armed and all they can do is ask me to leave if they see it.

That’s the case in my state, as well as many states, but not all states. Be careful.

I wouldn’t buy a pair of Levi’s for anything...I sewed for them, I know their product...thanks but I like another brand better so I’ll continue to buy those...

And we might want to boycott them also...this crap has got to stop...businesses and people do not tell people what to do, laws do and we have the 2nd amendment which Levi are against and has been since forever!!!

“Their ballroom jeans-—”

That kind of made me wonder-——for a minute. :-)

It’s a long time since I’ve bought men’s jeans.

“ask you to leave, you have to leave”

The thing I wonder about these kinds of rules is if it makes a diff if the store space is owned vs leased.

I.e., if you have your own gas station, it’s sort of like a private property thing.

But if you lease the space, you’re not the owner so can’t really make rules like that, though the mall or building owner could.

So if a bad guy goes into a store with gun drawn and bad intentions, just let him go ahead and massacre as many as possible while law abiding gun owners stand by.

Sounds like a good plan.

So if someone gets hurt or killed, Levi will be liability for not permitting customers from safety. Just like a mall.

Aren't there 2-3 states that recently passed laws stating that if a public business doesn't allow CCW in their shops and some jut job goes in and hurts/kills someone in their store, that business would be held liable? Something like triple damages?

Tennessee and Wisconsin, perhaps?

Levi’s... who cares?

Made all over the world... Mexico, China, Egypt.

A number of key back-office functions went to India-based outsourcer Wipro.

Levi’s actually made in America (NC?) are out of “imported fabric.”
