During a statement on Tuesday, former Vice President Al Gore argued that the Electoral College should be abolished in favor of a popular vote system.
Gore said he supported keeping the Electoral College even after the 2000 election, because it tied the states together, but now he has changed his mind and thinks the Electoral College should be eliminated.

If Gore is for it...that’s the best argument against it.

The worse the president’s legacy the louder they are in retirement. Carter. Now wait for Obama beating his own drum the next 8 years.

Isn’t the popular vote what elected all the governors, senators and reps? Better be careful, people.

Such leadership skill from a presidential candidate who didn’t even win in his own home state.

Arrgghh! No. Founding Fathers knew and fought against people like you, Algore. THAT is why they created the Electoral College.

Yea , because the Founding Fathers were not that bright to figure out how the smaller states could be represented. sigh.
Maybe if illegals were not voting too the popular vote would go to republicans.

Yep. The kids at college down here vote here, and vote in their home states.
All of that needs to stop.

Have you noticed AL GORE is beginning to look like GEORGE SOROS?
To: goodnesswins
Which is as it should be, since the states were supposed to be the day-to-day governing body of the people. The states elect the President as the one voice for foreign policies and common defense.

If you are interested only in issues involving California, fringe lunatic liberal Oregon and Washington, and the liberal elite in New York’s metropolitan areas. The founders created the electoral college to give the entire country try a voice. No thanks. Most Democrats ideas are bad ideas, including algores latest one.
