That’s basically what they said in the press conference, these guys were nothing per being suspicious individuals.

Questions:
Was he fleeing Islamic oppressors when he came to the US?
Once safe, why did he still embrace Islam?
Was it allah’s will that he be oppressed in Somali by Muslims, so as to be migrated here?
Is there something about his belief system that demands he attack non-believers?
Is there something in his belief system that demands he return evil for good?
Inquiring minds would like to know.
I don’t think it was Christians or Jews oppressing him in Somalia, and it was probably Christians or Jews who helped him escape.
I see, no that is not a picture of the terrorist, the Daily Mail says today’s attacker might have followed his example.

Turns out the only “active shooters” were the cops who gunned down the vehicle/knife terrorist.

Just adding - I see the plates were registered to Ali Mohammed. That explains the mixup.

Curious that they actually used “fight” in their tweet.
It’s a school wide broadcast tweet. It’s not directed to a specific person. But, you knew that?
