President-elect Donald Trump and President Barack Obama have been in regular communication, a top Trump aide said Sunday. Asked on NBC's "Meet the Press" about who Trump was consulting on Cuba policy, senior adviser Kellyanne Conway replied: "He's even been talking to President Obama. You know, beyond the sit-down they had 30 hours or so after President-Elect Trump won the election, they've been talking regularly on any number of issues. They talked just yesterday." Conway said they spoke for about 45 minutes Saturday, but declined to say what else they talked about. Trump enjoys talking with Obama, despite their disagreements, she said.

Trump is being Presidential. Trump will have to talk to all kinds of objectionable people. Although, most will be handled by surrogates.

His chances of being elected in each month is not the issue. Please see my comment #59. Hope that clears it up for you.

Not his chances of being elected at any given time prior to election day. Rather, your assessment of those chances.

This would provide data on your analytical performance.

Jill Stein would like it if you jumped on her bandwagon if you want to stop supporting Trump.

Trump’s talking to Obama is IMO, brilliant strategy, IMO. Art of the Deal in action.

Trump: Hey, Barrack old buddy, I was wondering if I should go straight or turn on this road here. Barrack: Well, Don, I’d strongly encourage you to turn as soon as possible. Trump: Gee thanks, buddy!!! Talk later! (OK, just as I thought, full speed ahead!)

This post may the the true summary of the "conversations" between the Champ and the Chump.

I believe that The Donald is F$$$ing with the Marxist

“Would you ask a loser for advice?”

If it was to my benefit I sure would. Doesn’t mean I am going to use their advice. Trump’s playing Obama as he’s played adversaries before. After all Trump’s victories since he threw his hat into the ring, this kind of BS continues.

I trust Trump, for now. He’s done everything he said he would up to this point.

What I’m saying is simply that I’ll wait to see what he does in the future and will then start to form some opinion based on his actual performance. In the meantime I support him. You can be for someone, but hold off on “grading” their performance until its more clearly demonstrated. What is wrong with that?

Trump has to keep this nutsack docile for another 6-weeks. Come 1/20/17, he’ll lose his cell number.

Nothing wrong with the general principle.

Do you think Trump’s victory provides any performance data?

Gee, maybe because that’s what happens during a transition?

(1) It’s CNN.

(2) OF COURSE the President Elect is consulting with the current President. That’s called normal transition of power.

(3) Tired of concern trolls being concerned. (Not referring to you, fellow Freeper.)

“I have a hard time supporting someone who is willing to talk to Obama about anything.”

Well hate to break it to you, but the real world isnt like FR’s loons that think goofy stuff like that is remotely logical.

Obama talks to a lot of people, and lots of people talk to him. That’s just everyday fact.

Obama is keeping Trump distracted whiles Soros and Hillary try to steal the election.

**************

Not really. Consider that the novice Obama won, not once but twice, and look at his performance. So not sure there’s any meaningful relationship.

That said, Trump performed quite a feat in beating his Republican rivals and Hillary. It was a YUGE victory, no doubt about it. I’m just inclined to wait and see how he performs as president. The swamp is a tough place to do business as the system is designed more to obstruct things than to advance change.

*rolleyes*

I seriously cannot wait until Dec 15th so the conspiracy kids can finally go find something else to do other than do cheap impressions of Alex Jones.

“The Champ and the Chump.”

I love it!

Unfortunately, the Chump is still President, so Trump of course has to deal with him. And he will be gracious about it — until it’s time not to be gracious about it (i.e., after the Electoral College votes). And he may even be gracious after that. Even though that may make some Freepers’ and other conservatives’ heads explode, Trump has bigger issues to tackle than denigrating Obastard.

Trump is listening to Obama list all the great things he has put in place while writing them down as a list of things to “undo”.

The reverse is oh so much more likely.
Keeping Obama from feeling too much like a lame duck, making him feel he will still be relevant, putting him at ease so it doesn’t seem worth it to get involved plotting with people he doesn’t like much anyway.
