Are there not federal charges which can be brought against the perpetrators of this form of lawlessness? Are not the designated representatives of our system of government afforded some protection under the law?

A national death penalty would eliminate death threats against future President-elects and Constitutionally selected representatives of the will of the people.

So these people who want to put a bullet in the brains of these electors also hate the NRA and want more gun control?

Well, if they were smart enough, they wouldn’t leave a name on the threat, and they would use gloves to not leave any fingerprints on the notes, and a vacuum cleaner to ensure that no dander or hair is left on the note.

There needs to be a new Federal law protecting EVs from the type of threats that are illegal to make against a President,i.e., investigation by the Secret Service, prosecution, and incarceration if convicted.

They want the electors to change their votes from Trump to Hillary.

Proof positive that cheating and violence emanates from the RATs.

(the end justifies the means)

Doing anything digitally can lead directly back to you, period. Once it leaves your computer in a message packet, it becomes the property of the domain to which it is sent. If anyone believes for a nanosecond that just because you go by an assumed “handle” that you have anonymity is just whistling past the graveyard.

Just ask John Podesta.

The FBI needs to be all over this and start throwing these psychotic ***holes in jail. They are a great danger to society.

Personally, I believe any such attempt to tamper with an election: voter fraud, threatening elected officials, electors, etc., should carry the death penalty.

Yeah, I’m serious.

There should be no quarter for those who are actively engaged in subverting the Republic.

A very public, quote-worthy rant from Trump demanding that Hillary call off her violent supporters who are threatening the lives of electors might just do wonders, here.

I wouldn’t use a death penalty, but instead smack them with massive fines. Right now, conveying a threat over an electronic medium can be either a misdemeanor or felony, with fines from $1,000 to $10,000.

Your preferred remedy, in no way, is nothing more than a mere ‘slap on the wrist’.....and only emboldens those who have nothing to fear from law enforcement.

These crimes are a direct assault upon the rule of law under our Republic,....very serious.
