The Left’s Dead End
American Thinker ^ | November 26, 2016 | Andrew Solomon

Posted on 11/26/2016 5:09:10 AM PST by Kaslin

The Left has no alternatives anymore. When you buy a bag of hammers, it's just that, a bag of hammers with an occasional sickle thrown in.

The only reason chemotherapy is prescribed is because the oncologist still believes there is enough fight in the body to overcome the cancer. However, when the entire body has been taken over, there is little use for any further attempts in using the lethal medicine. It's over because there is more of the bad than the good.

So when the Left summons up the phrase Alt-Right perhaps we should take it as a compliment. They are at least admitting that the majority of the right is good, salvageable and moral. It's just that small percentage of whack jobs attached to the rest. A little chemo and voila!

But unfortunately the Left has no such luxury. The entirety of the Leftwing Movement has become a form of medium strength tyranny. They are no longer soft because they are rioting up in the streets, murdering police, blocking traffic and destroying private property. They are not yet hard because they haven't completely metastasized into the tumorous archipelago of gulag-building yet.

They are still somewhat loosely organized even though they do have the traditional media, colleges, entertainment and slightly less than half of the government on their side. But understand, if Hillary Clinton had won, those scales would have tipped radically the other way with an imperialist invasion of the courts.

“The Left” is a term that is not really understood, outside of us who do not glued to the one-eyed monster called television.

Just call them what they are, COMMUNISTS, and be done with it.
Once we do that, then all red-blooded Americans can go ahead, and each one be a surgeon removing the tumor in their locale.

Not yet. Right now, communism is seen favorably by nearly half of the country and a majority of the young. They had a tiny little taste and didn’t care for it, but they need to love freedom and capitalism enough to not want to give it up before we can count on them to reject alternatives.

Left and right are convenient terms, for the moment. “Left” still means *good and acceptable” for way too many, while *right* scares the stuffing out of them.

Gonna be a long fight.

Until a few months ago I'd never heard of the term. I take it to mean arch-right, far right, and right-that-fights-back. *shrug*

Blame Glenn Beck for pushing that term on his program. It’s where I first heard the term

Dear reform,

re:”Not yet. Right now, communism is seen favorably by nearly half of the country and a majority of the young. They had a tiny little taste and didn’t care for it, but they need to love freedom and capitalism enough to not want to give it up before we can count on them to reject alternatives.

I can only imagine, since i have not sought the actual production numbers, that there exists more than enough well-made copies of: Fairbairn-Sykes, Case v42, THE Kabar of old, to be the antimatter spike to neutralize Communism in America, each on an individual basis, were it to happen so.

But that is an imaginary scenario, so, oh well.

The term "alt-right" is an attempt to repackage simple conservatism as something sinister by tying it to supremacy movements and race-hate groups. But the concept of nationalism -- even white pride -- is perfectly legitimate.

If sexual deviants, illegal foreign invaders, tablecloth-wearing barbarians, and parasitic thugs can be "proud" of their lifestyles and ideologies, why can't white people? WE have actually accomplished something, without distorting history or exaggerating our past.

Yeah, but we really do need to avoid that option until there are no more alternatives. CWII is exactly what Soros et al want and they don’t care about actually winning the battle or the war. They want chaos, blood in the streets and maybe even people begging for military intervention. Any military intervention. Any sort of military intervention.

Nice find - can’t get too many of these feel-good articles to help boost the folks that are already tired of winning and back to whining.

Beck is not a harmless clown as he pretends. He is a wretched corrosive force and agent of the left. If the word “cuckservative” had not been invented we would need to invent it for Neck

“I take it to mean arch-right, far right, and right-that-fights-back”

It has it’s roots in the white supremacist ‘movement’, the same clowns that post photos of themselves on Fakebook, holding Nazi flags and giving the Hitler salute.

The term alt-right is ok by me for two reasons. A) it will attract young people better than “conservative” would. And B) better to compare it to its opposit CNTL-left!

The 1960’s era original ALT_LEFT radicals are now officially passing from the active scene. Those who attached themselves are an uncivil bunch. Hillary made the election personal recognizing her negatives. It would be nice to find leadership from the left that puts the issue front center, and if they must attack someone do only the basis of professional objectivity. If the left could find people that are not criminals like Sharpton, Clinton, Reid, the Warners, etc., they could usher in an era of civility in politics.

I think most of us here would be considered “alt-right”.

They are trying to come up with some sort of scare expression to make it sound like a bad thing, or to try to lump us in with groups like the KKK. There are, to my knowledge (feel free to educate me), very few dangerous rightwing groups. The KKK is the only one that springs to mind and they are more laughable than dangerous.
