They learned this time around to not specify select counties in which to recount as they knew it was not constitutional. So throw open the whole state, which can’t be completed in time.
Trump just hired Donald McGahn as White House Counsel. McGahn is an election law expert.
“Piven-Clowad Strategy”. Overwhelm or de-legitimize every aspect of our government and society to make it collapse. Then make Socialism seem like the only real new beginning.

This, plus the article randita posted, says WI is at risk of the Dec 13th deadline to certify results.
Blood of tyrants,
How does the recount affect the certification?
Is there any chance of Stein messing up WI and the other two states’ (PA & MI) certifications?

Blood of tyrants,
Is this possible, to recount in three states, and have the delay screw up the EC vote for those three states?
Ping to engedi’s posts; comments please!

Wow, this is the goal. If WI misses their deadline, their 10 electoral votes would be void.
If the proposed Wisconsin recount is not completed on time, the states 10 Electoral College votes could be rendered void. In that scenario, Trump would be left with 296 electoral votes, which is still 26 more than the 270 needed to win the presidency.
Will check to see if MI and PA has this as well.

If WI cant do the recount by Dec 13th, their electoral vote of 10 will be voided and not counted, meaning Trump would lose 10. This rule probably exists for MI and PA as well. If deadlines are missed, all the electoral votes will be voided for those states.

The legislature could simply appoint the Trump slate. Which was under consideration in Florida in 2000.
Well, I don’t have to tell anybody here that larger forces are at work than just Ms. Stein and some concerned advocates. Together, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania have enough electoral votes to tip the win to Hillary if all three recounts flipped the popular vote.
There is no doubt in my mind that some of Jill’s funds are from Democrat/leftoid big rollers. She raised all that money in an incredibly short amount of time.
As somebody else on this forum put it, the Left never quits.
Speaking of which, what would it take to request a recount in Virginia and other states that Hillary narrowly won? I’m thinking that fighting fire with fire could be an option.
Combined General and Maryland “Freak State” PING!
Apparently not for a recount request. If she sued in a court of law, standing would apply there, I presume.
I wonder how much the Left's movers and shakers will give him. Since Jill already has enough funds, $0r0$ and company might tell him to go jump.
If Jill is successful with all three petitions, we just might have to get used to saying Madame President. Do you know of any voting irregularities in Virginia or other states that Hillary narrowly won?
No. If the re-count cannot be completed by the certification deadline imposed by the constitution, the state legislature is empowered to assign the state's electoral vote to the candidate of its choice.
Since both houses of the legislature in all three states are in Republican hands, Trump will not be denied any EVs.
When the electoral college meets on December 19, the electors from Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania will be able to cast their state's vote or Trump.
And if they succeed in that in all three states, the sumbitch will just go to the House and Senate, which are likely to pick Trump and Pence.
The answer is to throw an equal number of Clinton states into a recall as well.
Not true. Any candidate can. Depending on the % that they lost by determines who pays but in WI if the candidate can pay they get a recount.
I agree. Make sure they are ones Hillary won closely, and who says it has to be just three. Do all the suckers.
