Starbucks Will Have Nativity Cups This Christmas
Catholic Vote ^ | 11/25/16 | John White

Who saw this coming?

(By the way, if years had official questions, the official question of 2016 would be “Who saw this coming?”).

Anyway, the latest bit of 2016 shock and awe to come out of nowhere is that Starbucks will have cups featuring the Nativity this Christmas season.  Yes, that Nativity – with Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus.

Check it out here.

So, just another 2016 crazy almost miracle-type thing to wonder at.

Oh tidings.

At home, I drink dark roast—again, more European style. I think American style coffee tends towards the light or medium roasts, which I find nearly flavorless.

Same with me. Our 7-11 offers a few varieties, and I always choose their dark roast. Likewise with Starbucks. At home, I've found that Wegmans has a good dark roast.

P.P.S. A family member, career Navy, recently retired as a Senior Chief. Whenever she was deployed and at sea, I would send “CARE” packages; which always contained several bags of Starbucks. She and her shipmates RAN on that stuff. But as for me? Bleeaaach!!!

Beats Government Issue coffee, I'll admit. But Mayorga or Gevalia have it beat hands down (or, if you want to support the Carmelites in Wyoming, you could do "Mystic Monk")

Last year, Puccino’s in New Orleans had a Christmas special for customers named Mary or Joseph: their coffee was free. No joke.

An honest enemy might be better than a pretend friend. Evangelism that could be addressed to the lost is wasted on the saved.

That’s silly, but it’s typical of people full of themselves (and turkey) from having “given thanks” to themselves yesterday... not just picking on you to be fair. I’ve seen it all over here.

When will we learn. I’m not sure I saw even ONE article on FR that points out the juxtaposition between the set of miracles that brought Donald Trump and Mike Pence, and the holiday in which people of America are supposed to give thanks for their blessings.

It’s like God said “OK, class, we will now have our first test. Whom should be thanked for what?” And the class muffed it.

They can do this token thing, still does not change the facts they were HRC donors and support LBGT crap. Coffee is over priced and nasty tasting.

Even Kroger’s brand coffee is better.

When we went to Vegas for a HS reunion a few years ago, the only coffee available at 7 am in the lobby was Starbucks. Bought 1 plain black, nothing added, real expensive for a nasty tasting coffee I dumped after a 1/4th of a cup, tasted the crap for hours and gave me reflux it was so strong. Over rode 40 Mg of Nexium.

And I like strong coffee, not so strong as to give you reflux though. Nexium will cause brittle bones ya know if you take it to long.

Sorry most of you will opt out of an excellent opportunity to troll Starbucks. I am open carrying my 1911 in to the store, asking for a nativity cup and telling them my name is Trump.

WOW. I’ve drank coffee strong enough to make you sprout hair in places you oughta not have any, and I’ve never had that happen. Even after drinking several pots, as I’m sometimes (not very often) known to do

It’s out of character.

Starbucks usually sides with corrupt elites who hate traditional Americans.

Don’t know what to think of this.

Yeah, but do you have a RUINED GI track? Estrogen’s, OA drugs, ruined mine, to long on Nexium gave me brittle bones OP -4 which is the bottom of the scale and Barrett’s Esophagus which is a per-cancer type leather like painful lining of the Esophagus, I have to have a Upper Endo scope with biopsy every 2 yrs, DUMBO caused it to go to 3 yrs this year. And when the Gastro did this last one he found a Hiatal Hernia, small thankfully. Nexium is a 2 week ulcer drug, not a life long Reflux drug. Only one that worked of all tried.

So use that as a warning when you think you need a PPI drug. CHECK THEM OUT on google for side effects and length of time you can take them.

BTW all OP drugs are FDA Flagged with Forteo shot 6 months, being also Black Boxed for Bone Cancer, can’t find the stats on the # of deaths these horrid drugs cause, heard the tales of the side effects though all BAD. The IV 1 year Reclast is not to be given to Asthma patients, yet it is. Crap never leaves the body either.

Thing one - the Nativity cup didn’t make the cut...

http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/starbucks-debuts-13-new-red-holiday-cups-for-2016-season-watch-w449657

Thing two - I bought an espresso maker for my home. Even though it was pricey, it paid for itself in fewer trips to Starbucks. It grinds, brews, and has a milk steamer. I keep cocoa mix around to make a killer mocha concoction. The less money that goes to that leftist coffee cabal the better.
