There has been so much divisiveness in the two weeks since the presidential election, but an Albuquerque business is going a step further by refusing to have any dealings with Donald Trump supporters.
Matthew Blanchfield runs 1st in SEO, an Albuquerque-based internet marketing company. He's making his case pretty clear in a blog post, writing “if you are a Republican, voted for Donald Trump or support Donald Trump, in any manner, you are not welcome at 1st in SEO and we ask you to leave our firm."
In an interview with KOB Tuesday, Blanchfield said he has a moral obligation to stand up for what he believes is right and against injustice.
“It is my firm belief that we elected a fascist as our next president,” he said.
Blanchfield does admit there are no real means to weed out those unwelcomed clients. He hopes they would come forward on their own and then get out.
He's certainly not worried about the loss of business. Blanchfield has no guess as to how many clients he might lose, but he said one has left so far.
“The expense financially to me is immaterial,” he said. “Morality, justice and doing what's correct far supersedes financial gain for me.”

“Liberal” is itself an inherent lying word. If I were the editor of something, I’d never let it go out without the scare quotes — and we should be scared of it! It’s a faux generosity that won’t ever put its own skin in the game. It tries to con people out of things.
And if he goes out of business because of not serving Trump supporters he will blame Trump supporters for going out of business.

Sam it is quite amazing what has happened to this country, I am in customer service and people that are just rude and overly demanding I KNOW are Dems!!! These DAMNED PEOPLE ARE OUT OF CONTROL!!! I can’t ever remember people acting this way EVER!!! When I went through college I don’t remember my professors pushing a liberal agenda on us and NOT PREPARING us for the business world ahead of us!!! VERY POOR work ethic in young people today at least on the west coast!!!!
.... Well ..... Perhaps a little Boycott of the Business will help the poor business owner come to his senses. A lawsuit for blatant discrimination could be fun to.

I’m half a mind for someone to make an example of him in this vein. But why. That just affirms the wrongheaded laws.
Call them up and ask them for something, making statements about how you love Trump, etc.
When they refuse you service, sue.
Record the phone call of course.
This is blatant discrimination, the bakers refusing gays is precedent.
God forbid he was a bakery owner and refused their business.....
