While the rest of us are looking forward to family reunions and delicious turkey dinners, the Democratic Party is coaching its faithful on how to win political arguments. Well I am missing Thanksgiving with my wifes mom b/c her son is a complete liberal tool who threatens to leave and take the grandkids away because he wets his pants around a relative who carries.
So we go to my moms. We have a nice time together.
Half of their “responses” are GD lies. One of them says that Steve Bannon is an accused spousal abuser. The appropriate response to that is “I accuse Hillary Clinton of raping goats. Does that make it so?”
That's how I roll. Holidays with my brothers-in-law were always tense because we couldn't discuss politics or religion. The few times they (the democrats) brought it up, it turned into a brawl.
Now that I've moved to Arizona, I don't have to make the pilgrimage to Grays Harbor every year!
I have the rule established by my mother, which is as follows:
No matter what you believe, are doing, or any arguments
with family members; it stops when you enter my home. We
are family and will treat each other as such.
It has worked for decades, though one sister strays too
close to that line every time.
Undoubtedly these have been printed on waterproof, plasticized double sided, playing card sized cue cards, suitable to put in a front shirt pocket for instant snappy retorts to actual facts presented by Trump advocates.
Appropriate response to any leftist at the dinner table: “Your virulent hatred of Donald Trump only further girds my support for him.” And end it there.
God forbid that “Uncle Leonard says ... ‘Donald Trump is a fantastic businessman, and he’ll be great for our economy!’” and a little leftist just frowns to himself and keeps his yapper shut.

In August. Hubby got transferred when Honeywell closed the Everett facility. I transferred to HQ in DC and they’re letting me work remotely from Arizona.
It was freakishly hot down here when we arrived, but it’s nice now. Even had some rain earlier this week.
Just tell them you voted for Trump as a grenade thrown into the District of Corruption. Nobody is going to argue that.

I saved a TON of money on Christmas presents, by discussing politics online ! I no longer have to buy presents for about half of my extended family, and don’t have to endure the usual harangue from my vegan sister and Union parents. . .
