TRUMP Tells Hamilton Cast to Apologize to Pence For Harassing VP-Elect at Theater
The Gateway Pundit ^ | 11-19-2016 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 11/19/2016 7:12:28 AM PST by servo1969

Vice President-elect Mike Pence attended a performance of Hamilton tonight in New York City.

Pence was harassed by the audience… AND the cast..

The audience booed when he entered the theater. (many also cheered)

Then at the close of the performance the lead actor Brandon Dixon insulted the vice president-elect.

Actor Brandon Dixon lectured the new Vice President-elect on “tolerance.”

“Vice President elect Pence we welcome you and we truly thank you for joining us here at Hamilton the American musical. We really do. We sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us.”

Seriously?

On Saturday morning President-elect Donald Trump defended Mike Pence and told the Hamilton cast to apologize.

“Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen!”

“The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!”

Cultural appropriation. What’s good for the left is good for the right. Let us segregate.

Here’s what an actor has to do:

1. Hit your mark.
2. Say your lines.

Theater people always tended to be a little liberal but the idea of politicizing the audience is pretty amazing.

Like sports, all of the Arts are now becoming politicised.

people go to these venues to **get away from Politics**.

the long-term effect of this trend will be to drive down the popularity of these arts and that’s a good thing.

in Japan, where there is an immense market for entertainment, there is about a 50 50% balance between the left and right.

It’s only in America that we see this anomalous, complete and utter takeover of the Arts by the hard left.

Actually, I think the fairly strong showing for Trump (30%) on the UES of Manhattan demonstrates that we conservatives do show up at the polls. What you are right about is that we don’t much bother to make much noise because there’s no point (on account of the Electoral College).

The theater crowd is full of radical homos...My advise to Pence would be to stay away from these venues. Pence can live without these play actors and their make believe world.

“protection”

translation:

“our ability to shove our Lifestyle down The throats of anyone we Choose”

plus free medical Care costing taxpayers millions for each case of HIV or genital mutilation

That’s not the point. If Mike Pence or anyone else wishes to attend a public event she/he ought to be able to do so peaceably and without being harrassed. At one time this was known as “common courtesy”. Tell me how many times you’ve heard of conservative folks disrupting a Springsteen concert or something just because we disagreed with the performers politics?

No. Pence should be able to attend a play even if the cast was 100% liberals, gays, whatever without harrassment. Whenever that’s not the case, the bad behavior should be called-out in the biggest way possible, in this case the millions of Twitter followers who know about it now because of Trump’s tweet.

Some will not buy tickets as a result. Hopefully some will return their tickets and explain why. These actions will provide feedback in the only way that seems to work when common courtesy has already failed, a financial penalty. THe same way a monetary award in a lawsuit is a deterrent for other types of bad behavior.

If we fail to close the loop, guess what will continue, and only get worse?

They only get away with it temporarily. And “what goes around comes around” shows up; paybacks are rough. The “crop” you get back is always bigger than the seed you originally sowed; whether for good or evil.

Honestly. To be fair, it was the wrong time for Pence to go. Should have waited until election heat cooled off.

Yes, we should let leftist bullies dictate our behavior. It's the GOPe way.

Shoulda woulda, coulda, but that's not what happened is it?

Americans should be able to go to a political rally without being physically attacked and harmed. But that's not what's happening is it?

Lets not live in a make believe play actor world.

Dear Cast of Hamilton,

Stop projecting what you would do on others. We don’t take revenge, we simply clean up your disasters.

These people want tolerance, and respect, and yet never give any of that to those they disagree with.
