Jackson to Obama: Pardon Hillary

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Did you hear what the Reverend Jackson said? In fact, I've got a sound bite on this. I'll find it over here. Pardon me, folks, while I find it. Grab audio sound bite... What is it? It is audio sound bite... I thought I had it right... (interruption) Fourteen! Thank you for the help. Audio sound bite 14, the Reverend Jackson, University of Michigan Ann Arbor yesterday. He's being given an award or honored for his five decades of Civil Rights Act activism, and during the events he delivered the keynote address and said among other things...

JACKSON: President Obama should follow President Ford's example and offer a preemptive full pardon and inoculation against politically motivated prosecution in the spirit of shielding the divisions in our country. To do otherwise will only exacerbate divisions and hard feelings on both sides. It would be a monumental moral and political mistake to pursue the prosecution of Hillary Clinton.

RUSH: Wait a minute. She did something wrong? She committed crimes? You can only be pardoned if you commit crimes. Well, you could be pardoned for the commission of future crimes. You could be pardoned for crimes discovered in the future. (interruption) Come on! (laughing) Come on. Ha! All right, Mr. Snerdley, the Official Program Observer, says he did not understand half of what the Reverend Jackson said. Let me translate this for you. (impression) "President Obama should follow (mumbling) politically motivated (mumbling) divisions healing (mumbling) civil rights."

Did that help? (interruption) It didn't? Okay, here's what he said. "President Obama should follow President Ford's example and offer a preemptive full pardon" of Hillary Rodham, Clinton "and inoculation against politically motivated prosecution in the spirit of shielding the divisions in our country. To do otherwise will only exacerbate divisions and hard feelings on both sides. It would be a monumental moral and political mistake to pursue the prosecution of Hillary Clinton."

So my question is: You mean she's committed crimes? Why else would you pardon somebody? You only pardon people who have committed crimes that you know about or crimes you don't yet know about that when you discover you're gonna forgive. You can't pardon somebody for future crimes. You can't pardon Hillary and then she can go out and set up another private server to start collecting money from Bahrain or wherever for Hillary's daughter's presidential run in 2024. Can't do that.

The reaction, though, is, "A pardon for what?" You know, everybody's discussing this. Is it not a tantamount admission that Hillary Clinton's violated the law? Is this now something we can all agree on? By the way, this pardon of Nixon? The left melted down when that happened. I mean, don't sit there and think everybody was just kumbaya and accepted it and went it on. They were LIVID about it. Okay. So we got that.

Pardon is what you do to Rush Limbaugh when he fumbles on the air for his notes and apologizes for it.

Not what you do to Hillary Clinton when she is still like “Nefarious things? What nefarious things?”

"...shielding the divisions in our country..."

So he doesn't actually speak English?

Jackson apparently thinks she’s guilty.

Pardon = Guilty

That would torpedo a Chelsea Hubbell for congress campaign.

Actually pardoning Hillary would ruin both the Clinton & Obama legacy for good.

Furthermore, if all the players in her little pay for play scheme and resulting cover-up are not pardoned then they could be prosecuted. This could create further hard feelings and dissension among the Rats.

So make our day and pardon Hillary.

If she hasn't committed a crime, why does she need a pardon?

If she did commit a crime and now needs a pardon why did Jackson support her?

Perhaps Jesse is linked to some of Hillary’s criminal activities?

The strategy should be

Force Obama to pardon Clinton

It will be a democrat admission that she has done many illegal things

Fords pardon of Nixon led to Jimmy the current WPE. If Barry wants to stay ahead of Jimmy(and I know it’s a stretch) he would be wise to let Hill twist in the wind. Otherwise he could be WPE, hands down bar none.

I think this is interesting. This is a pressure move on obama? That may show us that obama doesn’t want to pardon ( clemency) of the Hillary gang to be his historic legacy. He has a vacuum in the legacy area anyway — but if he fills it will elevating hillary and the entire gang as above the law , he is really marked for life. I speculate that he tried to make a deal with Trump not to prosecute in the 90 minute meeting. We will never know. . Trump may use hillary as leverage in the “Art of the Deal”.
Here is my guess. Hillary will plead to the same crime and receive the same weak punishment as General Petraeus . Trump will agree to not pursue her gang or her husband but for this Trump will receive non filibuster commitments on key legislation. Watch for an announced plea bargain as the first sign that anything is up. By doping this, Trump establishes that no person is above the law and gets what he wants for the country.

Obama doesn’t like Hillary, he never has liked her, and he doesn’t care in the least if she goes to jail. That being said, if he DOES end up pardoning her, you can bet the only reason is he knows she has some dirt on him and would sing like a canary if prosecuted...

Nixon’s pardon, let’s consider it compared to Hillary’s email scandal. Nixon was accused of covering up and maybe helping to plan a break-in at DNC headquarters to gain intel for the campaign. He won the campaign but ended up resigning in disgrace. In essence, no gain from the misdeed.

Now if Hillary were being prosecuted for fixing the Dem primaries, or getting debate questions in advance, suborning the media or anything else directly related to the campaign, I might agree with Jackson.

But the allegations here and now involve Secretary Clinton’s behavior while serving as secretary of state and that has no comparison to Nixon’s misdeeds. And there are serious allegations that foreign interests and the Clinton family personally gained a great deal of money, resources and influence from her misdeeds. They need to investigate, if for no other reason than discouraging anyone else facing that temptation.
