As President-elect Donald Trump continues to flesh out his cabinet, rumors continue to swirl about the possible selections for various positions.
The New York Times is reporting that Trump may choose a prominent African-American to the role of Secretary of Homeland Security.
The choice of a minority should please liberals far and wide.
Just kidding, it’s David Clarke, a staunch conservative and man who kicks a** and takes names when it comes to far-left rioters and radical Islamic terrorists. A perfect choice for American law and order.

Point well taken but given that he was willing to run for reelection shows he still has some spunk left in him. Also by appointing him to some position, law enforcement preferable, Trump would be sending a pointed message to Liberals and Joe's other persecutors.
I understand what you’re saying but the man is too old. He’s worn out and I doubt he would accept anything with President Trump.

Sheriff Clark would be an outstanding choice to "restore law and order", and "clean up the streets" in order to make cities and streets safe again.
Maybe Trump has changed his mind? I hope so...
I saw Clarke interviewed a while back and he was asked about this, he said he wasn’t interested in a government position, he liked his job as sheriff. But I’ve also always said Trump can be very persuasive...
I’d love to see him in Trump’s cabinet, if this is true it’s great.
During the last week’s riots, he ordered his Deputies to use rubber bullets, bean bag guns, and every other non-lethal tool up to and including tear gas at the first sign of violence in Milwaukie County.
