Why Did Trump Win? Obama
American Thinker ^ | November 15, 2016 | Brian C. Joondeph

Donald Trump's upset victory is being attributed to many factors, from Hillary Clinton being a corrupt and flawed candidate to the rise of the angry white male. Never mind that Trump secured more white women support than did Clinton. Maybe it was due to the FBI investigations and Director Comey's schizophrenic opening and closing the investigations. Maybe it was Anthony Weiner entering the race with State Department emails on his laptop. Or the endless WikiLeaks revelations.

What really gave Trump his victory is one person: Barack Obama. This election was nothing less than a complete and total repudiation of his presidency, his policies, his "fundamental transformation of America" that he promised and delivered.

Let's go back to 2008, the year Barack Obama was elected as the first black president, promising hope and change, along with a fundamental transformation of the country – transformation that was in the eye of the beholder. He would be the first post-racial president, mending the racial divide that had ironically already healed enough for America to elect its first black president. The economy was in turmoil after the financial meltdown a few months earlier. He was new. He was "articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," according to his vice president. He even had the "perfect crease in his pants," foreshadowing a great presidency to a New York Times columnist.

The 2008 election not only gave us President Obama, but gave the Democrats a majority of state governorships, 29 to 21. That year, Democrats also controlled the Senate, 58-41, a seven-seat gain. Democrats gained 21 House seats, increasing their control 257 to 178.

Americans awoke and responded to the coup.

It is that simple.

We took up the arms proper and necessary, used them and won.

Trump won because he got more electoral college votes than Clinton.

And Obama is a complete putz.

The beauty of Trump is that many, if not most politicians is that they aspire for $millions. Donald wouldn't take the pay cut.

Reagan wanted to restore American values, adid a great job. I believe Trump will do the same, if not better.

I have anticipated the win for months

The Kincannon Show @kincannon_show

CNN reporter tells me Hillary became physically violent towards Robby Mook and John Podesta around midnight; had to be briefly restrained.

It’s the closest and most dangerous flirtation America has made with Communism... I hope a lesson was learned.

If nothing ELSE, Americans should remember this every time they take it up the Hoo Ha for their health premiums

I like wealthy people in office... you KNOW they are not there for the money :)

And probably was NOT sober - violence goes with being drunk.

That’s the REAL reason she didn’t come out to speak to her most faithful & loyal troops, and Podesta had to fill in for her........

Why any woman admires Hillary Clinton, I do not know. All I see is a woman who rode her husband’s coattails to the White House, and put up with a lifetime of “bimbo eruptions” in order to gain access to his power base.

Obama made this election about Obama when he entered the campaign for Hillary. He saw how weak Hillary was as a candidate and he knew all her baggage and weaknesses; he had already beaten her. For him to have any kind of legacy he had to jump in and drag her sorry behind over the finish line.

He failed. His legacy will be the destruction of the democrat party, if Trump succeeds.

I think post election is where we will see the biggest difference between an Obama presidency and a Trump presidency.

Obama had nothing once the election was over. No organisational skills, no leadership skills, no foreign policy skills, no intellectual ability. He could read off a teleprompter. He could party, play? golf, and go on vacations. There was no time for anything else between election day and the inauguration day. Talk about being totally unprepared for the job. Unqualified.

Trump has hit the ground running. He has set up his organization, put together teams of advisors, is building his staff, has defined goals and policies (see www.greatagain.gov), and is going to walk in on January 20th with solutions in hand (to Hell with Ryan and McConnell). Trump has said he won’t be going on vacation. He will be all business. The President is the CEO of the country. Trump IS qualified for the job, in spite of what the presstitudes and Hillary told us.

One other thing. The rent-a-mobs, Hillary, Obama, and the Democrats in Congress tell us Hillary won the popular vote. Her margin in popular vote could easily fit in the margin of California or New York. Says a lot for those states. Maybe she should run for governor of California or New York. Add to her resume of ceremonial positions. She is like Obama in many respects; a do-nothing.

The media and poll takers have been feeding us the line that obama’s favorable rating remains high. I never understood how they could say that when he was so disliked by so many. This election proved millions did NOT favor obama.. they rejected him and his agenda in a landslide. It took a Donald Trump to go through that media and win.

obama spent his 8 years blaming everyone and everything for his own failures... the media seemed to think that worked. It didn’t.. the voters rejected the arrogant, condescending President and his failing agenda. If ever there was a man who could have ascended into greatness, obama had that chance. He wasted those 8 years and sent our land into a disaster of his own making with his own ineptness. He is a miserable failure! and is so self enamored he does not know he is laughed at and is an embarrassment to America.
