Dunham said she left the party early and was informed of Clinton’s loss when a friend called and told her.
The actress wrote that as a result of her support for Clinton throughout her campaign, she received “threats and abuse” at a level she could never have imagined. However, she remained hopeful that her detractors represented “the dying moans of the dragon known as the patriarchy being stabbed again and again in the stomach.”
Dunham continued:
We believed that on November 9, they’d be licking their wounds while we celebrated. It is painful on a cellular level knowing those men got what they wanted, just as it’s painful to know you are hated for daring to ask for what is yours. It’s painful to know that white women, so unable to look past their violent privilege, and so inoculated with hate for themselves, showed up to the polls for him, too. My voice was literally lost when I woke up, squeaky and raw, and I ached in the places that make me a woman, the places where I’ve been grabbed so carelessly, the places we are struggling to call our own.
In her essay, Dunham predicted it would be too difficult for Clinton supporters to attempt to understand the motivation behind Trump’s support, suggesting the task would be best left to “strategists” and “men in offices who need to run the numbers.”
“It should not be the job of women, of people of color, of queer and trans Americans, to understand who does not consider them human and why, just as it’s not the job of the abused to understand their abuser,” Dunham wrote. “It’s quite enough work to know about and bear the hatred of so many. It’s quite enough work to go on living.”

Here’s a crude analysis of women versus the feds. (My apology in advance for sick sarcasm that I used to emphasize point.)
Noting that the states retained the lion’s share of government power to serve the people to the states, evidenced by the 10th Amendment, please consider the following.
As evidenced by Democrats encouraging illegal aliens and the deceased to vote multiple times for Hillary, corrupt Democrats have always been looking for new ways to increase the size of the Demorcatic voter pool to insure that they control the US Mail Service (1.8.7), regulating the Mail Service one of the very few powers that the Founding States expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds to control an aspect of domestic policy.
But also consider that Democrats had previously found a way to exploit women voters to help retain control of the US Mail Service. They did this using stolen state powers.
More specifically, noting that the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect abortion as a right like they had done with the rights expressly protected by the Bill of Rights and the voting rights amendments, state sovereignty-ignoring justices did the following.
Since these justices evidently empathized with Democrats wanting to keep tight control of the US Mail, the justices stole state power to regulate abortion, using those stolen powers to wrongly legislate the fictitious constitutial right to have an abortion from the bench, the Constitution still silent about abortion.
And their idea worked! Corrupt Democratic lawmakers took the hint from the Supremes and began exploiting low-information information women to win their votes in order to save the US Mail from Republicans. Democrats did so by promising such women unconstitutional federal funding for abortions, such women likely clueless that the feds have no express constitutional authority to tax and spend for such funding. But you gotta do what you gotta do retain control of the coveted US Mail Service.

Patriots need to work with Trump to politically force the corrupt, RINO-controlled Congress to either surrender state powers that Congress has stolen from the states back to the states, and / or work with the states to amend the Constitution to let the feds keep powers that the states are okay with the feds having.
And military issues aside, letting the feds do anything other than dog-catcher is very questionable imo.

In other words, she is saying that understanding the motivations behind other people's actions is *way* too difficult for mere women to undertake. Such an arduous job is best left to men who have the intellect to understand such lofty ideas. Women should never have to strain their pretty little heads trying to grasp those difficult concepts.
