PAIN control is a big chronic disease problem. DUMBO is treating very sick people like criminal Junkies, we are having to pee in a cup at $300+ a month and go to Pain Management another useless doctor who has no idea how to treat the disease or what it takes to control the pain.

Doctors Earn $3.5 Billion in Kickbacks from Pharmaceutical Companies

These are the new expensive drugs, when older more reliable ones with less side effects are being trashed and forgotten. Crestor was made #1 with a slick multi-million ad campaign, not that it was a better drug, has more side effects, cost tons more than the old Pravachol (pravastatin) which is now a generic and works with less side effects and cost a small fraction of what Crestor does.
Neurotin or Gabapentin (generic) is scheduled to be added to the list of NO drugs by the DEA in 2017. Lyrica is in the same family TONS of side effects and Way more ADDICTIVE than NORCO, Valium, or Percosets. Imagine having cancer and having pain meds restricted and peeing in a cup every month at age 65? NO GRANNY can’t have pain pills now!
Doubtless a whole sub-swamp of corruption and lies sits right there to be drained.
Who’s going to advise sanely about this again... except doctors?!?
Whatever IDIOT said that folks like Ben Carson have no role here... ought to hang his head in shame.
I know the rules for painkillers is totally stupid. It is done in such a way as to create addicts. My wife with arthritis is prescribed Hydrocodine for pain relief. But she is not allowed to take them as needed but must take 3 a day whether she is in pain or not. They actually do drug tests to insure she takes them. The doctor says he can not just give her 10 or so to keep on hand if needed. It is either all or none. She does not like to take pills so she will only take them as needed till about 4 days before she goes in to see them again then takes them as prescribed so it shows up at the right level on the drug test. It costs money for unneeded meds plus over time the dosage has to be increased as your body builds up tolerances to the prescribed levels.
