Manchin calls Reid’s statement on Trump “an absolute embarrassment”
WV Metronews ^ | November 11, 2016

U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) is blasting his party’s outgoing Senate leader Senator Harry Reid (D-Nevada) after Reid released a statement that Manchin says verbally attacked President-Elect Donald Trump. In Reid’s statement, he called Trump a “sexual predator” and suggested Trump to “roll back the tide of hate he unleashed.” On Friday, Manchin responded to Reid’s statement: “Senator Harry Reid’s statement today attacking President-elect Trump is wrong! It is an absolute embarrassment to the Senate as an institution, our Democratic party, and the nation. I want to be very clear, he does not speak for me,” Manchin said in a news release.

Yep, he sees the handwriting on the wall. He is positioning himself for a switch. Most of the Republican politicians here in Louisiana switched over from the democratic party when they noticed the trend.

Yup, the Orange Menace won a seat that was the most historically GOP in FL (since 1954). The corrupt Democrat FL Supremes ordered the seats redrawn to elect more of the Communist vermin, violating the U.S. Constitution that says the state legislatures decide the boundaries.

He will switch before Trump is sworn in.

My knowledge of Manchin is limited but it has always seemed that his views are Republican, like the views of Colin Powell always seemed Democrat.

He sure won’t be a strong conservative, but I guess it will be better to have him on our side. We will need every vote we can get, because we have some big things to do.

‘Rat, for now. Of course, I’m sure he was expecting the Butcheress of Benghazi to be President. Now he’s all by his lonesome.

Manchin has a 28% lifetime Conservative rating from the ACU. That means he is a leftist Democrat.

Never trust a turncoat

This is a DC swamp-dweller, and it's going to take time and maneuvering to drain the swamp. It's too close in the US Senate, and some of the worst backstabbers are still there. Might not be that bad if Manchin decides to save his sorry *ss by voting for Trump's initiatives.

Manchin wants to run for President!

He was until the “Trumpian Revolution” trying to be the “New Bill Clinton”. (The Bill Clinton without all the sexual escapades!) Slick’s political persona was that of a moderate from a southern state. One who could seek the moderate pragmatic solution and navigate between all those extremely extreme extremists of the right (GOP) & the left (Rat). The problem for Manchin is, the Rat party of 1992 no longer exists and this is no longer a 1992 country. What sold then, no ones buying! This explains all his weird gun control gyrations with Toomey. (Someone else will have to explain Toomey. I can’t !)

Again I know people who know Manchin personally. They agree with my analysis. They also say Manchin is all about Manchin! I think WV’ers are starting to see that.

Yeah, the GOPee needs someone with a CR Liberty Score of 16%. Even Warren and Sanders score better than Manchin.

Well, these are just the early stirrings. I expect in this new climate, new candidates will also appear who will want to get on the Trump Astounding Success Train.

If he switches and caucuses with the the majority it will allow another Republican up for re-election to vote with the Democrats occasionally and show their “independence.”

He sure did. The 13th District in Florida is the congressional seat he campaigned for, and of course he won it as a Democrat.
