Austyn Crites: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know (man at Trump rally)
Heavy ^ | 11/5/2016 | Heavy

Posted on 11/05/2016 9:48:50 PM PDT by Dallas59

Five to six Trump supporters jumped on the man. It was when he was on the ground, witnesses said, that there were shouts of "he's got a gun"

One witness tells me he thinks that a folded up poster or sign that he saw the man holding was misidentified as a weapon, sparking panic.

Crites’ Facebook page indicates that he’s a Republican who is voting for Hillary Clinton. Shortly after the incident at the rally, Crites replaced the cover photo with one of an American flag. The original cover photo referred to Nevada Republicans proudly voting for Clinton.

Here’s another crazy thing that shows up in Google search on this guy.

hkie.rotary3450.org/Newsletter/2005-2006/Tung%20Feng%2021%20%20%202005-11-23.pdf

It’s a PDF file from a Rotary Club in Hong Kong. 3rd paragraph mentions Austyn Crites being a guest at the last Rotary Club meeting (in 2005), says the guy has lived in (crap, I can’t remember city), Sichuan for the past year. Speaks fluent Mandarin.

Fluent Mandarin? A white guy in his early 20s (in 2005)? Chinese is a difficult language to learn; how and where did he learn to speak fluent Mandarin?

Sorry I don’t have more.

On the Trump FB forums, stuff is being yanked down as fast as it goes up.

It’s crazy.

No idea who/what “4chan” is but maybe they’ll manage better.

If he’s already voted for the Witch, and he thinks Trump is such an awful person, what was he doing at the rally?

Nailed it!!

Not sure if this guy is really a former repub.. but I do agree with you on the cruzbots, they’re alive and disturbed, particularly on social media. i hold Ted responsible for that... he threw his oratory missive after the convention, and has done little to speak directly to his supporters. I know he’s out campaigning for Trump... but its all very plastic.

4chan is somewhat old school array of people who chase stuff. That’s the simplest explanation and is thus not comprehensive.

It has an okay signal to noise ratio. They are finding a lot of stuff for this guy — particularly history of owning now defunct businesses but claiming signif income.

Yeah, I posted that on another thread. It is odd. How does a young white guy become fluent in Mandarin; and why?

He graduated from HS in Reno, NV in 2001. One would think there is a bigger market for fluent Spanish speakers there vs. Mandarin.

“On the Trump FB forums, stuff is being yanked down as fast as it goes up.”

By Facebook management, or who?

As to 4chan, I’ve heard lots of references to them, but know little about them except they’re some kind of social rebels with a high tech edge. Never checked them out, myself.

“How does a young white guy become fluent in Mandarin; and why?”

Business opportunities? Commie nutbag?

Maybe both?

His brother’s Facebook page seems to suggest that the family was originally from California (Stockton), then moved to Nevada at some point. Does Stockton have a sizable Chinese population?

I know that there are many so-called conservatives whose careers I will never support in any way again: Jonah Goldberg, Kevin Williamson, David French, Bill Kristol, John Podhoretz, Erick Erickson, et al.

“How does a young white guy become fluent in Mandarin; and why?”

He studies hard, and wants to make money, since Mexico apparently doesn’t have any, so all their people come here to mow lawns for minimum wage.

Wrong.
Trump was into 3/4 of his speech and I was about 7 rows back to the right when facing Trump, when a slender man in an orange shirt started screaming, and pushing people aside and basically running through them.He ran into me screaming ‘He’s got a gun!’ and kept going towards the back. He was in his twenties, white, short brown hair, triangular face and big eyes. Thinking back he must have been some cowardly weasel. I hope the police detained him for questioning.

Since he shoved all the people aside and created a path I had a clear view of the protester from the back. Tall guy, his head higher than everyone else’s. He was holding a black shiny sign, about half the size of our signs. He was holding the sign with both hands held high and did not seem threatening to me, he was walking slowly towards the podium amongst people. I didn’t see a gun.

The guy behind me, a shorter guy in a red or dark pink shirt, black hair with a voice like a megaphone asked me, what did that guy say? I said: “he said he has a gun, but I dont see one”. So he took off to try to subdue him, and also the guy in front of me. Things happened fast, when I got closer there were about five guys in the fray.

So it all started because the guy in the orange shirt panicked, started shoving people aside and running to the back of the venue while screaming about a gun. The main protester did not get beaten and subdued until after that happened.

After the altercation I asked one of the guys that tackled him if the protestor had a gun for real, and he told me he didn’t see one on him.

I don’t know. Either the guy was a delusional cowardly weasel, or he was working in concert with the main protester to incite violence and a riot.

I don’t think there is any way anyone could have brought a gun to the venue, we had to go through metal detectors, all bags were searched and some people where scanned with wands.

It’s sad, there were two families in front of me with small children, maybe seven to ten, boys and girls wearing cute minion deplorable shirts, after all this happened the moms were trying to confort the kids who got scared and upset. Too bad the protester (or protesters) had to ruin it for everyone.

Wow, that 4chan thread is interesting, scary, and scary.

It is both good, in this case, and scary, in general, that some private internet sleuths can turn up so much information on someone so quickly. We are not getting too far from a world like that in some old sci-fi stories speculating on what a culture might be like if telepaths made for a world where no one could keep any secrets...

Also scary is that Friedman fellow, and Stratfor. One of the posters writes:

I have been trying to get people to read his next 100 years book. all about collapsing the west and have an new emerging economy in the east, namely china/india. they want to move the earths middle class over there and let the western middle class become impoverished

And, of course, dependent...
