So how do you plan on spending election night? (Vanity)

Posted on 11/01/2016 8:24:46 AM PDT by Scythian_Reborn

I love presidential elections and typically stay up so late I worry about making it to work the next day but I just can't help myself.

However, this year, now that Fox News has officially registered in the "D" column, I might spare myself the frustration of listening to how "Hillary is Crushing" it in the exit polls and that it's all over (even though I know they'll be lying). I think I might just watch a movie. I've never done that before, but I don't think I can watch the disinformation stream flow all night. If Hannity has a coverage program I will watch that, otherwise, I'm voting and waiting till morning before I peak out and see where we stand.

What about you?

Our Clermont Cty OH Trump Campaign group we were given a theater at a place called Brew & View to watch Fox on the big screen. It is a neat theater where you high back seat has a table with full menu and bar and wait staff.

The owner donated the theater one night for a free showing of Hillary’s America and we had about 200 people show up for an early show and he did OK on the food sales.

So I think I will go there as it is different.

Fox business for the coverage, CNN MSNBC Fox and the nets for the schadenfreude.

Having friends over and opening our several bottles of Trump wine for a toast when the race is called.

Sipping a decent Scotch, munching some good snacks, listening to country music and enjoying the aroma of Hoppe’s No. 9.

The same. If Hannity is on, I’ll watch him. But most likely Fox will feature the Megyn Creature - truly horrifying and not recommended before going to bed - or BOR, Brit Hume, or some other Creature Feature - fugeddabouddit.

If I had an idea of when the actually results are in for a significant % of the vote, I might check it out, but I’m not sure what time in Pacific or Mountain Time that would be.

Clicking the “Refresh” button of the FR election results again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again as the FR server gets slower and slower.

(sorry Jim)

I even ended up in the ER with skyrocketing blood pressure.

Wow, don't do that man, do what I do. Assume the worst, that they're going to win via voter fraud, and then you will already be in the acceptance phase by morning. If Trump wins you'll be elated. Be careful because I suspect there will be heart attacks over this one

I usually have a party with lots of people. This year, just a few close friends and three computer screens!

We’ve decided on a Richard Harris marathon. “Man In The Wilderness”, “A Man Called Horse” and “The Return of A Man Called Horse”. LOL. The wife and I have been married too long. I don’t need a divorce now.

I am going to go to bed early and get a good nights sleep. At that point everything that can be done is done

Plan on going out to see the Jack Reacher movie. It will get me back home circa 10PM when the early returns are in for Pa. Trump carries Pa and I start the firework celebration.

It's the Rut in North America. Got to get to bed early to get up early.

It's probably the most important Rut of my lifetime! At least I hope so.

That sounds pretty cool. I believe OH will go solidly to Trump. What’s your feeling there?
