Okay FBI Director James Comey has made a huge 180 and has reopened the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified secrets in her emails. Now what does this Black Swan occurrence mean? Is Hillary Clinton’s campaign mortally wounded? It might just be; this might just be the end of the Clinton campaign for president.
It is hard to imagine a scenario under which this latest hit does not harm Clinton regardless of the certain media circling of the wagons around her.
The damage can be; at one end about a 2 point hit in the polls or go all the way up a major collapse of her polling numbers. It is likely that the damage will shake out somewhere in the middle causing damage in the 4 to 7 point range. That would be fatal.
Time is actually on Donald Trump’s side because this investigation will be hanging over Hillary’s every move right up to Election Day. There is no way this can be wrapped up in the brief time left before the election.
Nevertheless, it puts her on defense and when you are on defense you are not winning. It will leave her bashed and blooded.
It is a good guess that James Comey has been under "blow torch” pressure to make some effort, however half-hearted, to reclaim the FBI’s seriously tarnished reputation.
The pot must have started to boil when Comey made his jaw dropping announcement last summer saying he saw nothing that would make him want to prosecute Clinton for her “careless” handling of state secrets.
There are legions of honest FBI agents – many whom probably joined the agency immediately after 911 for “God and Country.”
They must have been livid and red faced with embarrassment when that happened; but even more so over the last few days when they learned that one of their top investigators Andrew McCabe obviously sold out the integrity of the FBI for $500,000 to pay for his wife’s campaign for state senate in Virginia.
The finals straw must have been the news that the money to pay for the crook’s wife’s failed campaign came from a fund raiser Hillary Clinton did in coordination with the crooked Governor of Virginia Terry McAuliffe.
Now FBI Director Comey has taken the only step he had left to try to head off an open rebellion in the nation’s Police Department. He has reopened the case he and the Democrats thought was dead and buried.
This won’t be settled anytime soon but that’s a good thing; let Hillary Clinton have her richly deserved sleepless nights filled with nightmares of being put on trial – not in a court of law but in the court of public opinion where she cannot win and there is no such thing as an appeal.
The biggest Black Swan so far has landed on Hillary Clinton’s head.
Hmmm...comey’s involved? Not trusting this at all... I think it’s a huge move for him to make a career save. He’s lost so much cred and the department itself is not trusted now. Not believing anything is going to come of this...just loser comey trying to save his ass. Hopefully that won’t happen either and he’ll lose his job.

Your statement presumes the media will actually talk about it. Nope. Not gonna happen. This was simply lipstick on the FBI pig (no references to HRC intended).
Here’s what happens.
The dems tell bimbo #6 to meet with press, complete with gloria allred, tomorrow.
The media obsesses over that day and night for 10 days.
Trump lets her have it in his rally speeches. The dems find someone who swears that Trump said “n*****” 29 years ago.
The media plays it 24/7 until every living creature knows about it.
No one believes it and Trump wins.

Or the FBI followed Kim Dotcom’s instructions to get PIAPS 33K emails from the NSA, saw some of them and needed to get ahead of the massive WikiLeaks dump of damning information that’s coming?
I hate to be a wet blanket here, but I believe what Comey wrote to Congress is just a formality. If there are no e-mails that come to light and the FBI looks into them, they are bound by law to inform Congress.
I’d love to nail Clinton for this as mush as anyone here, but this news story is being framed as “the FBI had found something wrong/new/bad, and must re-open the case”, and that’s just not what’s going on here.

Didn’t they use NSA to take down a drug case? They had NSA use a cut out or something to hide the source.
I am feeling very uneasy about this. The timing makes me skeptical. I worry that the powers to be have planned this to somehow divert attention from Trump’s winning message, which now has Clinton on the ropes. Something stinks here. I hope it’s the rotting Hillery.

If Hillary wins... Comey quickly concludes no crimes.... If Trump wins... he’ll recommend indicting.... Comey is covering all his bases...
He asked for immunity a few weeks back but was denied by congress....
It’s just part of the coverup. Now, they can refuse to release any documents because of an ‘ongoing investigation’. Pair this with the recent Judicial Watch FOIA request.
Comey saw the writing on the wall-a Trump presidency. There is no honor amongst thieves when they are backed into a corner.
Comet thinks the Wikileaks leaker is clearly inside of the u.s. government, probably inside the FBI and has bulletproof ninja skills and has more on COMEY.

The pressure had to be tremendous! Career people were probably ready to go public in frustration over the leaks not working (totally).
I disagree with Rush Limbaugh. No way that they can sweep back under the rug before the election - the “lying to Congress” part alone ensures that they can’t exonerate her like that.
