Then, as usual, they decided not to do anything about it.

I’m not saying I buy it in this case...but one of the ways the Clintons dealt with scandals while he was President, was to use the release of information on one scandal to obscure conclusions on another scandal. This had the effect of having much of the public hear accusation after accusation without hearing conclusion or result, and deciding it was just noise.
Covering Obama, methinks.
Someone has to fall for what occurred with this during her SoS term. Between the two, it’ll be her before him.

If this “source” is real and could be verified as knowledgeable, it would be the downfall of the FBI, no matter what happens from here on. It would be a smoking gun that they compromised their own investigation by withholding incriminating evidence.

So Comey is opening the box because:
1) Get ahead of Assange releasing information so he does not get crap on him
2) To not look stupid?
I smell a technicality that would let shillary off the hook, the information to convict her was obtained illegally and without due process?
There’s no way that a good soldier like Comey would do this on his own, without direction from his masters.
