It seems they should have to show they were harmed by addressing the issues of whether or not there were other bakers in the same area who would willingly serve their needs. They should have to show why in particular they wanted THIS bakery to make their cake. People should not be allowed to just do stunts to prove points and disrupt lives, clog courts to make their political points. If other competent bakeries are available at the same price then I don’t see how they are claiming they are harmed.

That is a factor, but as point out, Muslims can refuse to deliver beer, and likely transport someone to a gay "wedding.

Anti-discrimination laws sounded so reasonable at first, didn’t they? Little did people realize that freedom of association is vital to freedom in general, and that the government now has a club to beat citizens into compliance.
