One typically doesn’t take a cat out for a park romp - on or off leash.
I saw her on Celebrity Jeopardy. She’s not as stupid as Chris Matthews (is anyone?), but she wasn’t the brightest of the three. And Celebrity Jeopardy contestants are not in the same league as real Jeopardy contestants.

He used to come for a long segment on the extended version of Neal Boortz’s show, the 12-1 hour, back when I listened to Boortz. Probably a decade or more ago.
There’s no way that guy was ever a Republican, based on the interactions he had with Boortz.

An experiment in Social Psychology: When I carry a cane (essentialy a loaded cudgel) unleashed dogs are re-leashed before I get to them. When I don't, I am treated to ankle sniffing and assurances that the dog won't bite. I always carry a heavy stick with a brass horse hame handle. (Along with multiple levels of defense.)
In Arizona, you can't even dispose of a feral cat. There is no place to drop them off and when you ask about it they tell you to catch it, have it spayed/neutered and return it to its territory.
The cat people have taken over and those people are not rational.

People, especially senior citizens, love it when she talks about that dog. My mother treats Dana and those dog stories like dispatches from a beloved family member.
Like can’t just take it to an animal shelter, even. Weird.
Well, I’m not young, but for the life of me, I don’t get it. I guess I never got the whole dog thing. I don’t mind them and like seeing my son’s pup when he’s over, but I’m not obsessed with animals like the world seems to be these days.
He got caught in the bureaucracy of incompetence, but he did deserve the citation for walking a dog off the leash. It wouldn’t have been so funny if he or Henry had been mauled by an off-the-leash pitbull. The off-leash walking was not the point of the story, but he tried to make it so.

Yep. I’ve given up on ridding the area of feral cats. I have a neighbor, though, who traps them and relocates them far away.
I would never do that. No way. Somebody might see me and report me to the authorities. I imagine my neighbor relocates them at night. All speculation, you see. I don’t actually do that and I never would.
