I have done the same. On one occasion, a die-hard lefty had no clue. When I told her the correct amount, she suddenly had nothing to say.

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
This would explain this years record crop yeilds. Better store it up for the coming ice age.

Well, we won’t see it. The adaption of the eco-system will take thousands of years, but you are right. The plants will adapt and grow larger and faster. The pesky weed in the crack of the driveway will get REALLY aggressive for your great-great grandchildren!!
But, the earth was made by God and has survived massive eruptions of volcanoes. It can handle our exhaust gases and farts. The perfection of the Earth and Moon are the greatest piece of general revelation that there is! Too bad Progressives and Naturalists cannot see.

Each possible cause of global warming has a different pattern of where in the planet the warming occurs first and the most. The signature of an increased greenhouse effect is a hot spot about 10km up in the atmosphere over the tropics. We have been measuring the atmosphere for decades using radiosondes: weather balloons with thermometers that radio back the temperature as the balloon ascends through the atmosphere. They show no hot spot. Whatsoever.
If there is no hot spot then an increased greenhouse effect is not the cause of global warming. So we know for sure that carbon emissions are not a significant cause of the global warming. If we had found the greenhouse signature then I would be an alarmist again.
How much C02 did Hillary’s campaign bus contribute to Georgia’s air quality?
Tax the Screen Actors Guild members that use private aviation. Every take off clearance could activate the necessary contribution towards combatting climate change. Fair share. Lol.
CO2 = plant food.
More plant food = more plants.
More plants = more oxygen.
More oxygen = easier breathing.
Easier breathing = more relaxed, longer lives.

Oh Noes...4 molecules of CO2 for every 10,000 air molecules. I remember back in the good old days when there was closer to 3 molecules of CO2 for every 10,000...things were so much better then. There were no hurricanes, or tornadoes, it was 70 degrees everywhere all the time.
I’m 67. I demand that I be given credit for one of my new-found talents...extreme methane production.
By contrast Venus, the planet they cite as an example of what “could” happen to the Erf, has an atmospheric CO2 of 97%!!!!
Big deal. It’s a nice round number popular with crooked politicians, crooked journalists, but not scientists.
The percentage of CO2 is still very low compared to the other atmospheric gases.
